About the Role We are looking for a detail-oriented and commercially aware Contracts & Commercial Engineer to join our team. The role will be responsible for supporting the commercial and contractual management of projects, ensuring proper control of project costs, variations, payment applications, and contractual documentation. Key Responsibilities Prepare, review, and follow up on Variation Orders (VOs), including evaluation, documentation, and submission. Assist in monitoring and controlling project budgets and costs. Prepare and follow up on Payment Applications and ensure supporting documents are complete and accurate. Handle day-to-day Contract Administration and maintain proper contractual records. Review contract terms, conditions, and commercial requirements and ensure compliance throughout the project. Coordinate with Project Management, Engineering, Procurement, and Finance teams regarding commercial and contractual matters. Track project variations, claims, and financial commitments and maintain accurate records. Support the preparation of commercial reports and project cost updates. Review subcontractor and supplier commercial documents where required. Follow up on contractual notices, approvals, and correspondence. Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, preferably Mechanical or Civil Engineering.2–3 years of relevant experience in Contracts, Commercial, Quantity Surveying, or Project Controls within the MEP / Construction industry. Good understanding of construction contracts and commercial processes. Practical experience with Variation Orders, Budgeting, Payment Applications, and Contract Administration. Strong analytical and numerical skills. Excellent attention to detail and documentation skills. Good command of Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office. Good communication and coordination skills. Job Purpose<br><br> JOB DESCRIPTION <br><br>Review and generate BIM / Revit Architectural, structural, or MEP models produced for the company projects based on the provided information from consultant and to ensure meeting the client requirements and achieve efficiency in managing the projects in terms of schedules and cost.<br><br>Roles & Responsibilities<br><br> Collect the project data from consultant or tender department to ensure issuing the BIM model for the projects including all the project specifications to identify quantity of materials and time schedule. Review BIM models to create BIM MEP models. Coordinate with Estimating department in tender phase and project managers in construction phase of the projects to ensure implementation of BIM standards to meet the client requirements. Review and consolidate BIM Models to produce 4D Model for the projects. Link between BIM/Revit and Primavera Enterprise software to visualize the projects’ status in terms of time and cost. Maintain and configure the different models to ensure the model integrity is maintained to suit the project BIM execution plan and associated BIM requirements. Ensure that the performance of various assigned tasks, and the conduct of BIM Model and junior model engineers are in accordance with the department's policies and procedures. Train and support new BIM model Engineers to ensure their ability to handle their responsibilities in effective and professional manner.
