Main Responsibilities Operation and Safety Monitoring: Monitor process parameters to ensure safe operation and product quality/reliability. Conduct area walk-throughs, listen for warning signals to identify potential faults, and apply instructions to take corrective actions. Routine Operations and Commissioning: Report abnormal operating conditions to supervisors. Perform routine periodic operations such as switching between filters or pumps, starting/stopping equipment, and operating backup systems. Ensure plant start/stop operations (requires special qualifications). De-icing Coordination and Defrosting: Ensure de-icing/defrosting (Deriming) of the station (requires special qualifications). Provide shift performance and incident reports, coordinate with the client operations team or coordination network and neighboring production facilities, and maintain site safety and security. Emergency Management and Isolation: Provide initial instructions to visitors and plant personnel in emergencies (before management takes over). Secure the station or the control room in emergencies, secure and isolate equipment from the process during scheduled maintenance in coordination with instrumentation and electrical maintenance technicians. Communication and Safety Standards Application: Represent the first-line communication concerning safety and security with the client operations team and neighboring networks. Use Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and portable gas analyzers, prepare safety reports and identify emergencies. Maintenance Execution: Perform planned maintenance on equipment and systems according to provided work plans, monitor predictive maintenance indicators, and collect and record maintenance data and test and calibration results. Qualifications and Required Competencies Education Level: Diploma / Technical certificate or equivalent (Technical Schools). Specialization: Mechanical, Electrical, or Chemistry. Languages: Arabic (native), English (basic).
