Attend design meetings and site visits. Ensure safety, reliability, and cost-effectiveness. Prepare design reports and calculations. Review shop drawings and material submittals. Develop basis of design reports (BODR) and technical memorandums for small-to- large size projects, setting criteria for following design stages. Review the design and specification of fire safety systems (fire alarm systems, notification systems, automation of Gas/water fire extinguishing /emergency escape systems).
