Consultant – ALM, FTP & Liquidity Risk Software Implementation <br>Location: Egypt <br>Travel: Willingness to travel internationally to client sites <br><br><br>Position Overview <br>We are seeking an experienced ALM, FTP & Liquidity Risk Software Implementation Consultant to join our banking risk management software implementation team. <br>The successful candidate will have a minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience implementing ALM, Funds Transfer Pricing (FTP) and Liquidity Risk software solutions for banks. <br>This is a software implementation and consulting role, rather than a pure banking risk analyst position. The candidate should have experience working for a software vendor, technology company, consulting firm or system integrator delivering risk management solutions to banking clients. <br>Experience with Oracle OFSAA / Oracle Financial Services Analytical Applications (OFSAA) or comparable ALM, FTP and Liquidity Risk platforms is a pre-requisite to being considered for this position. <br><br><br>Key Responsibilities <br> Implement, configure and support leading international software solutions for: <br>o Asset Liability Management (ALM) <br>o Funds Transfer Pricing (FTP) <br>o Liquidity Risk Management <br>o Interest Rate Risk in the Banking Book (IRRBB) <br>o Related Enterprise Risk Management solutions <br><br><br> Work directly with banks to understand their: <br>o ALM and liquidity risk methodologies <br>o FTP methodologies and transfer-pricing frameworks <br>o Risk policies and regulatory requirements <br>o Products, portfolios and business processes <br>o Data structures and reporting requirements <br><br><br> Conduct client workshops to gather and document functional and technical requirements.  Translate banking and risk-management requirements into software configurations, business rules, calculations, workflows and reports. <br><br><br> Configure and customize ALM, FTP and Liquidity Risk solutions according to approved specifications. <br> Prepare functional and technical documentation, including: <br>o Business Requirements Documents (BRDs) <br>o Functional Specifications <br>o Configuration documents <br>o Test scenarios and test cases <br>o User documentation <br><br><br> Participate in the complete implementation lifecycle, including: <br>o Requirements gathering <br>o Solution design <br>o Configuration <br>o Data mapping <br>o Integration <br>o System Integration Testing (SIT) <br>o User Acceptance Testing (UAT) <br>o Production deployment <br>o Post-implementation support <br><br><br> Work with client IT, Treasury, Risk, Finance and business teams to resolve implementation and data-related issues. <br> Support data analysis, mapping and validation between banking source systems and the risk management platform. <br> Assist clients in validating ALM, FTP and liquidity risk calculations and results. <br><br><br> Prepare and deliver product demonstrations, training sessions and knowledge- transfer workshops. <br> Prepare project status reports and communicate implementation progress, risks and issues to clients and project management. <br> Support change-management activities and assist clients in adopting new risk- management processes and systems. <br> Travel to customer locations as required. <br><br><br>Mandatory Experience & Qualifications The ideal candidate must meet all or most of the following criteria: <br><br><br>1. Banking Software Implementation Experience <br> Minimum 3 years of professional experience implementing software solutions for banks. <br> Experience should be in a software vendor, technology company, consulting firm or system integrator environment. <br> Candidates whose experience is limited to being an ALM user, Treasury user, risk analyst or bank employee without software implementation experience are not the target profile. <br><br><br>2. ALM / FTP / Liquidity Risk Expertise Hands-on implementation experience in one or more of the following is required: <br> Asset Liability Management (ALM) <br> Funds Transfer Pricing (FTP) <br> Liquidity Risk Management <br> Interest Rate Risk / IRRBB <br> Liquidity gap analysis <br> Cash-flow modelling <br> Interest-rate risk measurement <br> Behavioral modelling <br> Liquidity stress testing <br> Regulatory liquidity reporting <br><br><br>Candidates with experience across ALM + FTP + Liquidity Risk will be strongly preferred. <br><br><br>3. ALM Software Platform Experience <br>Experience with Oracle OFSAA is highly desirable or comparable banking risk platforms will also be considered. <br>The candidate should be able to demonstrate actual implementation/configuration experience on a software platform, rather than simply knowledge of the underlying ALM concepts. <br><br><br>4. Client-Facing Consulting Experience <br> Experience working directly with banking clients. <br> Strong requirements-gathering and business-analysis skills. <br> Ability to conduct workshops with Treasury, Risk, Finance and IT departments. <br> Ability to explain complex banking risk concepts to both business and technical stakeholders. <br><br><br>5. Technical Skills <br> Good knowledge of SQL is required. <br> Experience with database structures, data mapping and data validation. <br> Understanding of ETL/data integration concepts is desirable. <br> Ability to investigate calculation and data issues using SQL and other technical tools.
