Atomica AI is seeking a qualified dentist with experience or a strong interest in software product management, implant dentistry, and guided surgery.<br>The Product Manager will own the strategy, roadmap, requirements, and continuous improvement of Atomica’s Dental Implant Guided Surgery Application. The role combines clinical expertise, product management, user research, software testing, and close coordination with development teams.<br>The Product Manager will translate the needs of dentists, implant surgeons, dental laboratories, manufacturing partners, commercial teams, and internal stakeholders into clear product requirements and efficient guided-surgery workflows.<br>Key Responsibilities<br><br>Product Strategy and Ownership Own and prioritize the product roadmap and backlog for Atomica’s Guided Surgery Application. Define product priorities based on clinical value, user needs, business objectives, technical feasibility, and regulatory considerations. Develop a clear understanding of the complete guided-surgery workflow, from patient imaging and treatment planning through guide design, manufacturing, and clinical use. Identify opportunities to improve usability, automation, clinical accuracy, workflow efficiency, and product adoption. Monitor competing guided-surgery products, emerging clinical workflows, and digital-dentistry trends.<br><br>Clinical Workflow Development Analyze implant-planning and guided-surgery workflows and translate them into practical software features and requirements. Work with workflows involving CBCT, DICOM, STL, intraoral scans, surface matching, segmentation, implant positioning, nerve tracing, guide design, sleeve selection, fixation pins, anchor pins, and guide manufacturing. Support the development of tooth-supported, mucosa-supported, bone-supported, stackable, and full-arch surgical-guide workflows. Ensure that product workflows reflect real clinical requirements and are understandable to general dentists, implant surgeons, laboratories, and support teams. Identify clinical risks, workflow limitations, and edge cases that should be addressed in the product.<br><br>Requirements and Documentation Gather requirements from dentists, surgeons, laboratories, commercial teams, support teams, partners, and other stakeholders. Conduct user interviews, feedback sessions, workflow evaluations, beta programs, and usability testing. Prepare clear user stories, acceptance criteria, product specifications, workflow diagrams, and clinical documentation. Define expected product behavior, validation rules, error handling, and user guidance. Maintain accurate product documentation and product knowledge.<br><br>Cross-Functional Coordination Coordinate closely with UI/UX designers, software developers, QA engineers, technical leads, regulatory teams, and commercial teams. Review workflows, wireframes, prototypes, and technical proposals before development. Clarify requirements throughout implementation and resolve product questions raised by development and QA teams. Ensure consistency between desktop, cloud, and web-based components of the Guided Surgery Application. Coordinate dependencies with related Atomica products, including segmentation, case management, cloud collaboration, and manufacturing workflows.<br><br>Testing and Release Management Participate in functional testing, clinical workflow testing, issue investigation, and release-readiness reviews. Validate that implemented features meet clinical, usability, and product requirements. Help define test scenarios for routine cases, complex cases, and clinical edge cases. Prioritize defects and usability issues based on clinical and business impact. Plan product releases and prepare internal and external release communications. Monitor product performance and user feedback after release.<br><br>Implant and Surgical Component Libraries Manage implant, surgical kit, sleeve, drill, abutment, fixation-pin, and related dental-component library integrations. Coordinate with implant manufacturers and other partners to collect catalogs, technical specifications, compatibility data, and 3D files. Review library data for completeness, accuracy, naming consistency, and usability. Help define validation and approval processes for new or updated component libraries. Support manufacturer-specific workflows and partner integrations.<br><br>User Adoption and Partner Support Work with commercial, onboarding, training, and support teams to improve product adoption and customer satisfaction. Support the preparation of training materials, workflow guides, demonstrations, and product documentation. Follow up with important users and clinical partners to understand usage patterns and identify improvement opportunities. Assist with partner integrations involving planning support, guide production, case collaboration, and manufacturing. Support strategic customers and partners during pilots, beta programs, and product launches.<br><br>Required Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Dentistry or an equivalent recognized dental qualification. Previous clinical experience working as a dentist. Strong understanding of dental anatomy, implant treatment planning, and surgical workflows. Good knowledge of implant dentistry, digital dentistry, CBCT imaging, and guided surgery. Familiarity with DICOM, STL files, intraoral scans, segmentation, implant planning, and surgical-guide design. Experience or demonstrated ability in product management, product ownership, software quality assurance, or software-development workflows. Ability to translate clinical and business needs into clear and actionable software requirements. Ability to prepare user stories, acceptance criteria, specifications, and workflow documentation. Strong analytical, organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills. Ability to collaborate effectively with development, design, QA, regulatory, commercial, onboarding, and support teams.
