Role Description The باترونيست (Pattern Maker) is a full-time, on-site role based in Cairo. This team member is responsible for developing accurate patterns for women’s underwear and lingerie, translating design concepts into production-ready templates. Day-to-day tasks include drafting and modifying patterns, ensuring proper fit and grading across sizes, and collaborating closely with designers and production staff to align patterns with fabric types and manufacturing constraints. The باترونيست will also participate in sample reviews, adjust patterns based on fit tests and feedback, and help maintain pattern libraries and documentation to support efficient, high-quality manufacturing. Qualifications Pattern-making and garment construction skills, including drafting, grading, and adjusting patterns for women’s underwear and lingerie. Technical knowledge of fabrics, materials, and manufacturing processes relevant to intimate apparel. Ability to collaborate effectively with design, production, and quality teams, and communicate clearly in a workshop or factory setting. Attention to detail, strong measurement and fit assessment skills, and commitment to maintaining consistency and quality across sizes. Experience with pattern-making software or CAD tools, and basic proficiency with computer-based documentation and file management. Previous experience in lingerie, underwear, or fashion manufacturing is highly beneficial. Relevant technical education or vocational training in fashion design, pattern-making, or garment technology is preferred. Willingness to work on-site in Cairo and contribute to a growing local brand with regional and international ambitions.
