The job objective: Manage and operate the factory warehouses efficiently to ensure production inputs are available at the right time, maintain complete product inventory securely and organized, and achieve the highest levels of accuracy in stocktaking and reduce waste and spoilage, supporting continuity of production and customer satisfaction. Tasks and responsibilities: First: Production supply warehouse management. Supervise receiving all raw materials and production supplies. Ensure items conform to technical specifications and purchase orders. Supervise storage operations in proper storage methods. Review daily production issue requests and approve them. Ensure materials are issued according to the production plan. Monitor minimum and maximum stock levels. Prevent stockouts or unexplained stock increases. Coordinate with the procurement department regarding purchasing needs. Second: Finished goods warehouse management. Supervise receiving finished products from production. Review received quantities with production orders. Organize storage locations according to a clear coding system. Supervise preparation of sales and shipping orders. Review vehicle loading operations. Ensure product safety during storage and transportation. Monitor finished goods balances daily. Third: Inventory control. Monitor the movement of all items. Analyze movement of dormant items. Monitor slow-moving items. Monitor fast turnover items. Perform daily reconciliation between the system and actual stock. Investigate any stock discrepancies. Approve adjustments after review. Fourth: Stocktaking. Prepare the periodic counting plan. Supervise monthly, quarterly, and annual stocktaking. Analyze stock differences. Prepare reports on causes of differences. Establish procedures to prevent recurrence of errors. Bachelor’s degree in Commerce or Business Administration or Logistics or Industrial Engineering or a relevant qualification. Preference for diploma or certification in warehouse management or supply chain management. General requirements: 7 to 10 years in warehouse management. At least 3 years of supervisory experience. Industrial establishment experience. Ensure documentation of all receipts, issues, transfers, and cycle counts. Support internal and external audits. Bachelor’s degree in Commerce or Business Administration or Logistics and preferably a diploma or certification in warehouse management. Proficient in Microsoft Excel.
