You'll work across cloud infrastructure, Kubernetes, CI/CD, monitoring, logging, vulnerability management, and incident response.<br>This role requires someone who can help make our platform reliable, secure, observable, repeatable, and auditable as we build Egypt’s digital lending future.<br>Key Responsibilities Infrastructure & Kubernetes Operations (30%) Support day-to-day operation of our infrastructure Work with Kubernetes clusters, workloads, and networking Help maintain production and non-production environments with proper separation and controls Monitor cloud resources, cluster health, capacity, availability, and resource utilization Troubleshoot infrastructure, networking, DNS, load balancing, and cluster issues Assist with cluster upgrades, node pool changes, scaling, and platform improvements<br>Deployments, CI/CD & Developer Platform (25%) Maintain and improve CI/CD pipelines used by engineering teams Support safe deployments, rollouts, and rollbacks across staging and production Help troubleshoot failed builds, failed deployments, image issues, secrets/configuration problems, and runtime errors Manage repositories, permissions, branch protection, CI/CD integrations, and package/image hosting controls Support secure handling of deployment credentials, CI/CD secrets, access tokens, and build artifacts Make deployment processes more reliable, repeatable, and auditable Work with developers to improve operational readiness and remove bottlenecks<br>Monitoring, Logging & On-Call Support (20%) Maintain and improve monitoring and observability Support centralized logging and investigation workflows Create and maintain useful dashboards for infrastructure, Kubernetes, applications, databases, and other platform services Tune alerts so they are actionable and routed to the right owners Participate in on-call rotations and incident response processes Triage platform alerts and coordinate with the appropriate engineering or product team when an issue belongs to them Help maintain runbooks, escalation paths, incident timelines, and post-incident follow-up actions<br>Operational Security (25%) Support operation of our SIEM platform Operate regular and on-demand vulnerability scans and reviews Support configuration compliance and reporting Assist with evidence collection for audits, regulatory reporting, vulnerability assessments, and security reviews Escalate high-risk findings, failed scans, non-compliant systems, and unresolved remediation items Manage secrets across Kubernetes, CI/CD, and our secrets management platform Manage certificate issuance, renewal, deployment, and troubleshooting Manage of SSH keys, service accounts, API keys, and other operational credentials Follow least-privilege and access control practices for infrastructure and developer tooling Support access reviews and audit evidence for platform systems where needed Help identify risky configurations, expired credentials, excessive permissions, and operational security gaps<br>Qualifications Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field Experience: 3-4 years in Dev Ops, infrastructure, cloud operations, platform engineering, or similar roles Experience in fintech, financial services, or another regulated industry is highly preferred Strong Linux administration and troubleshooting skills Hands-on experience with Docker and Kubernetes Experience with CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation Understanding of cloud networking, DNS, load balancing, firewalls, NAT, TLS, and security controls Experience with monitoring, logging, alerting, and incident response Comfortable writing scripts and automation using Bash, Python, Type Script, or similar tools Fluent Arabic and professional English<br>Technical Skills Cloud: Operating production infrastructure on Huawei Cloud or similar cloud providers Kubernetes: Deployments, services, ingress, secrets, config maps, scaling, troubleshooting, and cluster operations CI/CD: Git Hub Actions or similar systems, deployment pipelines, build automation, and rollback procedures Observability: Prometheus, Grafana, Open Search, dashboards, logs, metrics, and alerting Security Operations: SIEM basics, CIS benchmarks, vulnerability scanning, and incident escalation Networking: DNS, routing, firewalls, load balancers, NAT, private networks, TLS, and service connectivity Secrets & Access: Secrets management, certificates, SSH keys, service accounts, and least-privilege practices
Role Summary We're looking for a detail-obsessed QA Engineer who believes quality is everyone's job, but someone needs to lead the charge. You'll be our first dedicated QA hire, building quality practices into a fast-moving fintech that's building Egypt’s digital lending future.<br>Key Responsibilities<br>Build Test Automation (40%) Create automated test suites where they matter most (payment flows, loan calculations, critical user paths) Write API tests that catch integration issues before users do Build E2E tests for critical business flows using modern tools Set up test data management that doesn't break every sprint Make tests fast enough that developers actually run them<br>Exploratory & Manual Testing (30%) Test new features with the creativity of a user and the precision of an engineer Find the bugs that automation can't: UX issues, edge cases, "feel" problems Verify financial calculations with the paranoia they deserve Test across real devices and browsers our users actually use Validate Arabic/English localization and RTL layouts<br>Quality Process & Strategy (20%) Participate in feature planning with a "how do we test this?" mindset Define acceptance criteria that actually ensure quality Build lightweight processes that improve quality without slowing delivery Create test documentation that developers will actually reference Champion quality without becoming the release bottleneck<br>Developer Collaboration (10%) Learn existing QA processes from the team Leverage existing synthetic monitors to identify test priorities Pair with developers to improve code testability Review PRs for test coverage and potential issues Debug production issues caught by monitoring alongside engineers Make quality everyone's responsibility, not just yours<br>Qualifications Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field Experience: 3-4 years in QA/testing roles with hands-on automation Good programming skills (Java Script/Type Script preferred) Experience with modern test frameworks (Jest, Cypress, Playwright, etc.) API testing experience (Postman, REST) Understanding of CI/CD and test integration<br>Technical Skills Automation: Writing maintainable test code, not just using tools Web/Mobile: Testing across browsers, devices, and platforms Backend: API testing, database validation, event-driven systems
