<p>Junior Road Engineer, Shop Drawings </p><br><p>Job Purpose:</p><br><p>The Junior Road Engineer, Shop Drawings, shall support the preparation, checking, </p><br><p>coordination, and revision of road shop drawings for UAE infrastructure projects. </p><br><p>The role requires good AutoCAD and Civil 3D knowledge, a basic understanding of road design </p><br><p>and construction. </p><br><p>Key Responsibilities: </p><br><p>1. Coordinate road drawings with utilities, drainage, structures, tra ic diversions, street </p><br><p>lighting, landscape, and existing services as required. </p><br><p>7. Identify basic clashes or inconsistencies such as wrong levels, missing dimensions, </p><br><p>grading conflicts, kerb conflicts, utility cover level issues, and road tie-in issues. </p><br><p>8. Check road grading against drainage requirements to avoid ponding, reverse slopes, and </p><br><p>low point issues. </p><br><p>9. Coordinate with utility engineers to ensure manhole covers, gullies, catch basins, valve </p><br><p>chambers, and duct crossings match proposed road levels. </p><br><p>10. Support the Senior Road Engineer in preparing drawing trackers, submission status </p><br><p>updates, and weekly progress reports. </p><br><p>11. Highlight any missing information, conflicting details, or unclear design items to the </p><br><p>Senior Road Engineer immediately. </p><br><p>Required Technical Knowledge: </p><br><p>1. Basic road geometry and road shop drawing preparation. </p><br><p>2. Road layouts, profiles, cross sections, grading, kerbs, footpaths, cycle tracks, medians, </p><br><p>and tie-ins. </p><br><p>3. Pavement layers, road levels, slopes, camber, crossfall, and longitudinal gradient. </p><br><p>4.
