Project Specification Review & Technical Submittals</strong></p><p>· Review project specifications, BOQs, datasheets, drawings, tender requirements and consultant comments to identify applicable product, material, pressure, connection, testing, coating and approval requirements.</p><p>· Prepare and maintain complete Material Submittal packages including product datasheets, compliance statements, certificates, drawings, test documentation and supporting manufacturer information.</p><p>· Prepare, update and control factory Prequalification (PQD) packages and project-specific approval documents.</p><p>· Prepare and review Method Statements (MS), Material Technical Submittals (MTS), Inspection & Test Plans (ITP), checklists and technical procedures relevant to RVK product scope.</p><p>· Draft clear technical responses to consultant comments, including compliant points, deviations, equivalent alternatives and items requiring special manufacturing or confirmation.</p><p>· Coordinate technical clarification with Sales before quotation when application, pressure class, temperature, drilling/connection standard, material or approval scope is unclear.</p><p> </p><p><strong>2. Product & Standards Engineering</strong></p><p>· Verify product compliance against applicable EN, ISO, BS, AWWA, ASTM and related project standards, using the correct standard for each product and application.</p><p>· Support product selection and technical equivalency for gate valves, butterfly valves, check valves, air valves, pressure-control valves, hydrants, ductile-iron fittings, couplings, dismantling joints and flange adaptors within RVK’s approved scope.</p><p>· Review flanged drilling, pressure classes, face-to-face dimensions, body/trim/elastomer materials, coating systems and testing requirements before final technical confirmation.</p><p>· Maintain awareness of RVK’s certification/approval scope, including product-specific UL/FM requirements where applicable, without extending approval claims to non-listed products.</p><p>· Review and issue technical datasheets, GA drawings, shop drawings and dimensional confirmations; coordinate revisions with drafting/design resources as required.</p><p> </p><p><strong>3. Incoming, In-Process & Final Quality Control</strong></p><p>· Review incoming raw materials, castings, machined components, elastomers, fasteners and imported parts against approved specifications, purchase requirements and traceability records.</p><p>· Verify material certificates and inspection documentation, including EN 10204 3.1 / 3.2 certificates when contractually required.</p><p>· Maintain batch/heat/lot traceability from incoming material through assembly, testing and final release, with clear linkage to production and inspection records.</p><p>· Monitor critical assembly and dimensional checks and verify that approved BOM/material configurations are used for the relevant product/order.</p><p>· Witness and document hydrostatic shell and seat tests in accordance with the applicable product standard and approved test pressure.</p><p>· Monitor coating quality including surface preparation, FBE/epoxy application and DFT; perform or coordinate holiday/adhesion or other coating tests only when required by the approved specification/ITP.</p><p>· Prepare final inspection reports, release notes and manufacturing/quality dossiers required for client inspection or delivery.</p><p> </p><p><strong>4. Quality Systems, NCR & Third-Party Inspection</strong></p><p>· Raise, investigate and close NCRs and corrective/preventive actions; perform root-cause analysis and verify effectiveness of corrective actions.</p><p>· Control inspection and test records, calibration status, quality checklists, approved procedures and revision-controlled documents.</p><p>· Coordinate third-party inspections, laboratory tests, customer inspections and factory witness points; ensure readiness of products and documents before inspection.</p><p>· Support compliance with the company’s ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 management systems and applicable SASO requirements.</p><p>· Assist during internal/external audits and maintain objective evidence for technical and quality-related processes.</p><p> </p><p><strong>5. Job Purpose<br> JOB DESCRIPTION <br>To handle drafting project shop drawings, as well as coordinate drawings between different disciplines and assist site engineers clarifying and resolving any technical problem that could arise during the construction caused by designs.<br>Roles & Responsibilities<br> Participate in implementing technical office policies and procedures. Study the project contract documents (time schedule, project design drawings, BOQ, etc.). Prepare shop and coordination drawings (or composite drawing) based on project’s design drawings in accurate with quality standard. Coordinate with other trades to solve any conflict between various Engineering disciplines. Update the shop drawing log before sending the shop drawing to consultant for approvals. Study and prepare requests for information (RFIs) for all missing, unclear, conflicting or other technical matters that may arise during construction. Review sub-contractors’ shop drawings as well as outsourced shop drawings and coordinate their approval process with the project consultant. Coordinate with Surveying Engineer to provide him all the information about land coordinates and any site measurement required. Participate in solving/reporting any unexpected technical difficulties, and other problems that may arise during construction to the Technical Office Manager for discussion and proper solve. Prepare as-built drawings at the end of the project and hand over to the project consultant. Prepare material submittal in conjunction with material to be and approved by the consultant. Ensure that employee is working according to the company HSE policies and regulations, and fully aware of his job risk assessment and environmental aspects.
