<h4>Candidate profile</h4>
<p><strong>Education and experience</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>High school diploma or GED; 2 years of experience in butler services, guest relations, or related professional area; completion of a formal butler training program.</li>
<li>OR</li>
<li>2-year degree from an accredited university in Hotel and Restaurant Management, Hospitality, Business Administration, or related major; completion of a formal butler training program; no work experience required.</li>

<p><strong>Managing butler services</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Manages day-to-day butler services operations verifying that quality and standards exceed the expectations of guests on a daily basis. This includes all pre-arrival activities, Butler Service Desk operations, and Butler staff in order to provide a seamless butler program for guests.</li>
<li>Manages VIP guests. Recognizes repeat and important guests and builds rapport in order to develop personal guest contact, obtains preferences and proactively anticipates guest needs and requirement.</li>
<li>Manages VIP guests’ schedules as appropriate to support potential needs.</li>
<li>Manages the guest experience so that a high level of privacy is afforded and confidentiality is kept on behalf of VIP guests when possible.</li>
<li>Supervises Butler Service Desk and verifies resources provide seamless services during the on-site guest journey.</li>
<li>Conducts daily stand-ups and communicates clear and consistent messages through stand-ups regarding the Butler team updates and goals to produce desired results.</li>
<li>Obtains list of check-ins and VIP guests both to prepare work assignments for the Butler team.</li>
<li>Keeps the Butler team focused on the critical components of operations to drive guest satisfaction and the desired financial results.</li>
<li>Encourages and builds mutual trust, respect, and cooperation among departments such as Front Office and Housekeeping whose touch points intersect with butler services and Butler team members.</li>

<p><strong>Managing departmental costs</strong></p>

<li>Manages areas of operation to budget by reviewing operating statements, budget worksheets and payroll progress reports.</li>
<li>Manages department controllable expenses and cost per occupied room to achieve or exceed budgeted goals.</li>
<li>Supervises and approves the budgeting and ordering of product and supplies in support of butler services.</li>
<li>Manages departmental budget in such a way that the overall property financial goals are met, and supporting staff are educated on relevant details as appropriate.</li>

<p><strong>Conducting human resources activities</strong></p>

<li>Interviews, hires and develops Butler team members with the appropriate skills to meet the business needs of the operation.</li>
<li>Communicates performance expectations in accordance with job descriptions for each position and monitors progress.</li>
<li>Reviews staffing levels and modifies as appropriate so that butler services are delivered at the expected level, balanced with meeting financial and operational objectives. In reviewing staffing levels, creates monthly/weekly schedules, meeting departmental and individuals’ needs. Includes control of attendance by using software used by Human Resources Department.</li>
<li>Establishes and maintains open, collaborative relationships with employees and verifies employees do the same within the team.</li>
<li>Verifies recognition of employees is taking place across areas of responsibility.</li>

This role ensures the high availability, security, and scalability of our on-premises and hybrid cloud virtualized environments, with a primary focus on the VMware software-defined data center (SDDC) stack.<br>As a senior member of the infrastructure team, you will act as the principal subject matter expert for VMware v Sphere, NSX, and Site Recovery Manager (SRM). You will lead complex migrations, manage physical server hardware lifecycles, orchestrate disaster recovery strategies, and mentor junior administrators to ensure maximum uptime across critical enterprise applications.<br>Key Responsibilities:<br>1. VMware Infrastructure Architecture & Deployment<br>Design, build, and maintain a highly available enterprise virtualization platform strictly centered on VMware v Sphere (ESXi, v Center, and v SAN). Lead technical design, sizing, and hardware specifications for enterprise-grade rack and blade servers (e.g., Dell Power Edge, HPE Pro Liant, Cisco UCS, Supermicro) optimized for VMware workloads. Conduct continuous capacity planning, resource monitoring, and performance tuning for hypervisor hosts, clusters, and underlying Storage Area Networks (SAN/NAS).<br>2. Advanced Network Virtualization (VMware NSX)<br>Architect, deploy, and manage VMware NSX (NSX-T / NSX-T Data Center) to handle logical routing, switching, and load balancing. Implement and enforce micro-segmentation and distributed firewall (DFW) policies within NSX to enhance zero-trust data center security. Configure edge clusters, VPNs, and overlay networks (Geneve/VXLAN), coordinating closely with the physical networking team to align virtualization layers with core network routing.<br>3. Disaster Recovery & Business Continuity (VMware SRM)<br>Own the design, implementation, and rigorous testing of enterprise business continuity plans using VMware Site Recovery Manager (SRM). Configure and maintain SRM protection groups, recovery plans, and replication policies (v Sphere Replication or array-based replication) to meet strict RTO and RPO metrics. Lead regular, non-disruptive disaster recovery drills and handle real-world failover/failback operations during critical infrastructure disruptions.<br>4. Server Hardware & Infrastructure Lifecycle<br>Oversee the end-to-end lifecycle of physical server hardware, including procurement evaluations, initial burn-in testing, physical racking, provisioning, and firmware/BIOS upgrades. Configure and manage server hardware components, including CPU/RAM optimization, hardware RAID controllers, Host Bus Adapters (HBAs), and high-speed network interfaces (NICs). Implement and maintain out-of-band management platforms (e.g., Dell i DRAC, HPE i LO, Cisco IMC) for remote monitoring, hardware alerting, and bare-metal management.<br>5. Leadership, Security & Automation<br>Enforce virtualization security best practices, including hardening ESXi hosts, securing management interfaces, and managing role-based access control (RBAC) in compliance with industry regulations. Drive infrastructure automation initiatives using tools like VMware Power CLI, Terraform, Ansible, or Python to streamline provisioning and patch management. Provide Tier 3/4 troubleshooting support for complex compute, NSX networking, SRM recovery, and storage infrastructure issues. Mentor junior system administrators and maintain comprehensive technical documentation, topology diagrams, and DR runbooks.<br>Qualifications & Skills:<br>1- Required Experience & Education<br>Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field (or equivalent professional experience). Experience: Minimum of 6–8 years of experience in system administration, with at least 4+ years of dedicated, hands-on experience managing enterprise VMware environments, including active deployment and administration of VMware NSX and SRM.<br>2- Technical Proficiency (Mandatory)<br>Core Virtualization: Expert-level knowledge of VMware v Sphere (ESXi, v Center, v SAN). <ul><li>Study the project documents including drawings, specifications, time schedule, Quantity surveying, BOQ (Bill of Quantity), RFI (Request for information), calculating quantities, Cost estimation, correspondence…etc. to take into consideration all the project details during execution.</li><li>Set the mobilization plan of the project based on the project requirements.</li><li>Prepare RFIs and send them to the project consultant to obtain missing information and resolve all conflicts.</li><li>Communicate with concerned departments to prepare the general procurement plan.</li><li>Conduct an estimated quantity survey to determine the quantity of material that needs to be purchased or procured.</li><li>Conduct the quantity surveying process to prepare required invoices.</li><li>Prepare the subcontractors’ and clients’ invoices based on the progress report sent by the site engineer.</li><li>Prepare and follow up the Variation Orders and prepare Notice to Claim in cooperation with the Contracts team.</li><li>Prepare periodical reports such as Quantity Executed Invoices and send them to the concerned departments in the headquarters.</li><li>Define required needs for the project; prepare purchase orders and submit them to the line manager for approval and follow up with the Needs Department on the provision of all materials and equipment required for each project on-site to avoid project interruption.</li><li>Define the quantities and works of the project.
