Position Overview A Canadian structural engineering company is seeking a motivated Structural Engineer based in Egypt to join its engineering team remotely. The successful candidate will support the analysis and design of residential and light-commercial structures in Canada Strong English communication skills—both written and verbal—are essential for this position, as the engineer will communicate regularly with the Canadian team through emails, online meetings, technical comments, and project documentation. Key Responsibilities Perform structural analysis and design under the supervision of senior engineers -  Prepare structural calculations, design models, sketches, and technical documentation - Develop and revise structural drawings using AutoCAD -  Model and analyze structures using ETABS, SAP2000, and Autodesk Robot Structural Analysis Professional Review architectural and structural drawings for coordination and constructability -  Respond clearly and professionally to technical comments -  Prepare clear, accurate, and professional emails and project communications in Englishc -  Participate effectively in English-language online meetings and technical discussions - Coordinate remotely with the Canadian engineering and administrative teams -  Complete assigned work accurately and within established deadlines - Required Qualifications • Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering. • Between 1 and 3 years of relevant structural engineering experience. • Good proficiency in AutoCAD. • Good working knowledge of ETABS, SAP2000, and Autodesk Robot Structural Analysis Professional. • Strong understanding of structural analysis and engineering fundamentals. • Strong written and verbal English communication skills are mandatory. • Ability to understand technical instructions and communicate engineering information clearly in English. • Ability to write clear, professional, and grammatically correct emails. • Strong attention to detail, organization, and time-management skills. • Ability to work independently in a remote environment. 1• Reliable computer, internet connection, and professional home-working setup. • Ability to maintain reasonable overlap with Canadian working hours when required. Job Title: Technical Office Engineer Department: Technical Office Industry: Porcelain Installation & Finishing Job Responsibilities: Design and prepare shop drawings for porcelain installation works and submit them to the project consultant/client for approval prior to execution. Prepare cutting lists, including required quantities, dimensions, materials, and specifications. Prepare all shop drawings required for both on-site and off-site works. Revise and update drawings according to changes and comments received from the project's technical supervision team. Prepare quantity take-offs based on approved drawings and project requirements. Manage and follow up on all technical communications with consultants, clients, project management, and relevant parties. Implement and follow the company's Technical Office policies and procedures. Coordinate with other trades to identify and resolve any technical conflicts that may arise during project execution.
