Job Title - Senior Field Service Engineer Reporting To - Operations Director Location - Cairo, Egypt<br>Key Responsibilities Attend site either on or off shore within the African Continent in support of the business development for installation, commissioning, site investigation and site reviews / inspections. Ensure all personnel working within the team are working safely, have appropriate inductions, risk assessments and toolbox talks and are following both TSS and client safety methods and standards. Act as mentor and give guidance to Field Service Engineers in their day to day tasks. Ensure all OEM procedures are followed, taking appropriate actions to ensure quality and recording data into the QA system. Liaise with the Torishima engineering support team and/or the client field engineer to ensure correct actions are taken. Ensure daily reports are accurate and timesheets signed and submitted on a daily basis. Submission of field technical reports on work completed and recommendations following site visits. Installation and commissioning of equipment as per OEM procedures. Quality of workmanship. Accurate and on time submission of field service reports. Completion of work in line with work plan, highlighting additional work and potential claims. Identification of complimentary work with the client when on site.<br>Qualifications & Requirements English and Arabic essential. Engineer with Bachelor’s Degree. Strong understanding of steel structural behavior, load paths, connection design, and lateral systems. Proficiency in Auto CAD and Revit for steel detailing and coordination. Strong working knowledge of U. S. design codes, including IBC, ASCE 7, AISC (360 & 341), and ACI (for foundations). Hands-on experience with structural analysis and design software such as ETABS, SAP2000, SAFE, Mathcad, STAAD, or similar. Familiarity with PEB systems, framing concepts, secondary members, and cladding support design is highly preferred. Good command of English (written and spoken).
