We're hiring a Generative AI Engineer in Damietta. Here's what you'd actually be building. At Car Pass.ai we run AI agents that talk to real car buyers — over voice, Whats App, web chat, SMS and email — on behalf of automotive retailers. Not a chatbot bolted onto a website. Agents that pick up a lead the moment it goes cold, search live dealership stock, send the customer cars that actually match, and book them in. In one recent pilot, a single campaign took a list of leads the dealer had written off and turned eight of them back into active buyers. In a few hours. For around £10 in running costs. That's the job: making those conversations good enough that the customer forgets they're talking to AI — and building the systems that keep them reliable when they're running unsupervised, at scale, in multiple languages. What you'd work on:Voice agents built on Gemini Live — latency, interruption handling, making them sound genuinely human Multi-agent orchestration: routing, tool use, live inventory search, handoff to human sales teams Evaluation and guardrails, because these agents run in production against real customers Deployment into customer environments, including fully sovereign setups where no data leaves their cloud What we're looking for: strong Nodejs, hands-on LLM and agent experience (RAG, tool calling, fine-tuning), and the instinct to ship and measure rather than theories. Speech, voice or telephony experience is a big plus. Two things that are non-negotiable: you write excellent prompts — structured, testable, and iterated against real evaluation data, not guesswork — and your written and spoken English is strong, because every word our agents say to a customer pass through you. Full-time, Remote, Egypt. The stack you'd be working in:Python (Fast API) and Nest JS on the backend React + Vite and Next.js for the dashboard and web widget Postgre SQL, Redis and a vector store powering RAGGemini Live for real-time voice, plus the Whats App Business Cloud API, SMS, email and web chat MCP for tool integration, with custom tools and scrapers wired into live dealer inventory Docker, Coolify and Google Cloud#Generative AI #AIEngineer #Hiring #Automotive Tech #Egypt
