Job Summary We are looking for an experienced Electric Forklift Maintenance Engineer responsible for the preventive and corrective maintenance, troubleshooting, repair, inspection, and commissioning of electric forklifts and material-handling equipment. The role requires strong electrical and mechanical troubleshooting capabilities and the ability to provide efficient on-site technical support. The position will focus on maximizing equipment uptime, reducing breakdowns, ensuring safety compliance, and delivering high-quality maintenance services to customers or internal operations. Coordinate with the spare-parts team to ensure required components are available and used efficiently. Maintain accurate maintenance records and equipment history. Identify recurring failures and recommend corrective actions to improve equipment reliability. Ensure all maintenance activities comply with company HSE and safety procedures. Maintain and properly use company tools, diagnostic equipment, vehicles, and other assigned assets. Provide technical guidance to technicians and operators when required. Communicate professionally with customers and ensure customer satisfaction after each service visit. Support continuous improvement initiatives aimed at reducing downtime and maintenance costs. Job Requirements Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, or a related field.2–5 years of experience in forklift, material-handling equipment, industrial equipment, or similar maintenance roles; direct electric-forklift experience is highly preferred. Experience with lithium-ion and lead-acid forklift batteries and charging systems. OEM technical training or certification is a plus.
