Role Description The Senior Mechanical Engineer role is a full-time, on-site position based in Cairo, Egypt. This role is responsible for leading mechanical design activities, developing and validating prototypes, and overseeing the engineering aspects of complex projects from concept through production. Day-to-day tasks include creating and reviewing detailed CAD models and drawings, performing mechanical calculations, coordinating with cross-functional teams, and ensuring designs meet performance, safety, and quality standards. The Senior Mechanical Engineer will also guide junior engineers, manage technical documentation, collaborate with suppliers and manufacturing teams, and support continuous improvement and innovation within the engineering department.<br>Qualifications Experience in mechanical maintenance work (preferably in amusement parks, industrial equipment, or similar mechanical systems). Ability to diagnose faults and perform preventive and corrective maintenance. Commitment to quality and safety standards. Ability to work effectively as part of a team and handle work under pressure. Candidates should possess strong Mechanical Engineering fundamentals and practical experience in mechanical systems. Candidates should possess expertise in Machine Design and the ability to develop robust, manufacturable mechanisms and components. Candidates should possess Project Management skills, including planning, scheduling, risk assessment, and cross-functional coordination. Candidates should possess Research and Development (R&D) capabilities, including prototyping, testing, and data-driven design improvement. The role holder is also responsible for managing Graphic Designers and supporting online graphic design, flash animation, usage of HTML and online creative requirements.<br>ROLE PROFILEConceptualise, design and produce promotional materials to provide the department with necessary visual communications requirements for materials they need to produce. Develop graphic design in order to integrate it onto the various advertising mediums . Develop concepts, graphics and layouts for product illustrations, company logos and website . Determining size and arrangement of illustrative material and copy, and font style and size . Create designs, concepts and sample layouts based on knowledge of layout principles and aesthetic . Take full accountability in adhering to artwork specifications as per suppliers’ guidelines . Supervise all advertising and digital campaigns, news related to competitor to keep abreast of any developments to act accordingly .
