Position Overview The IC Verification Solutions (ICVS) Division is seeking a QA Test Engineer to join the QuestaSim Quality Assurance Team. QuestaSim is one of the leading high-performance, high-capacity simulators, offering a unified and advanced debugging environment for hardware designs. In this role, you'll gain exposure to advanced functional verification solutions for complex hardware designs while building a solid foundation in hardware design and verification environments. You'll work with a wide range of Hardware Description Languages (HDLs) and testbench specification languages, including Verilog, SystemVerilog, VHDL, SystemC, SVA, UPF, and UVM. Key Responsibilities: Master the QuestaSim Simulator and develop a strong understanding of the underlying technology. Write, maintain, and execute product test and quality plans. Design, execute, and summarize test cases. Participate in various types of product testing, including integration testing, regression testing, license testing, installation testing, and GUI testing throughout the release lifecycle. Build and maintain test automation frameworks to eliminate manual testing effort and reduce testing turnaround time. Understand customer use cases and support the integration of customer designs into test environments. Perform product benchmarking and performance measurement activities to capture tool performance data across releases. Report, validate, and triage defects to identify root causes and determine their severity before communicating findings to R&D teams. Utilize code coverage techniques and tools to quantitatively assess product test coverage. Assist in the deployment and monitoring of qualification techniques such as static code analysis (linting), dynamic code analysis, and memory leak detection. Qualifications: B.Sc. or M.Sc. in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field. Excellent knowledge of digital and RTL design fundamentals. Strong knowledge of Hardware Description Languages (Verilog, VHDL, or SystemVerilog) is required. Knowledge of UVM is a strong advantage. Solid knowledge of assertion specification languages such as PSL, SVA, or OVL is a plus. Experience with scripting languages such as Shell, Perl, and Python, as well as Qt, is required. Familiarity with quality assurance concepts, software testing, testing strategies, test planning, and test automation tools. Knowledge of defect tracking systems, configuration management, and code profiling tools. Highly developed communication skills, including the ability to present ideas and share knowledge effectively with others. Day-to-day tasks will include conducting product demonstrations, addressing inquiries, and working closely with the sales and customer service teams to build strong client relationships. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of the FF&E (Furniture, Fixtures & Equipment) industry and experience working with furniture, interior design projects, hospitality, residential, or commercial fit-out environments. The role requires the ability to collaborate with designers, consultants, architects, and project stakeholders to deliver suitable product solutions and support project specifications.<br>Qualifications Strong expertise in Sales Engineering and Technical Support. Exceptional skills in Sales and Customer Service to deliver client-focused solutions. Excellent Communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively explain technical concepts and product specifications to clients.
