Egybell is hiring Platform Engineer (6 Months project) for a multinational telecommunications company.
Responsibilities:Developing the “company’s next-gen public / private, portable cloud platform” - Paa SDesigning, developing and deploying business software at scale Deploying and maintaining solutions in various infrastructure environments Verify technical feasibility and validate solution options for the requirements Align with product and development teams on providing training, knowledge transfer and subject matter expertise. Translate the company’s business requirements into systems design, including high-availability and disaster recovery. Excellent communication skills, both written and oral with the ability to adjust the messaging based on the audience Requirements:Experience with Kubernetes and Docker (Using & Administration, including deployment of Kubernetes or K3S) Developing and maintaining Helm Charts and Dockerfiles from open Deploying solutions in different environments (Open Stack, Proxmox, Bare Metal) Experience with Git Ops approach and Argo CD/Flux CDSoftware development knowledge of at least one of these programming languages: Python, Bash (Go, Java can be an advantage) Strong Linux Administrator skills. (Managing network configuration, users, permissions, debugging various issues) Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools like Terraform/Ansible CI/CD environment creation and maintenance using Atlassian Bamboo/Azure Devops/Gitlab Actions Developing tests in a TDD approach – Behave testing framework

Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field5+ years of experience as a Platform Engineer. Excellent in English Experience in influencing application modernization and migration to cloud platforms. Worked with cloud providers: AWS, Azure, GCPBroad knowledge in systems logging, monitoring and telemetry (ELK, Grafana, Prometheus etc.) Knowledge of Dev Sec Ops concepts and tools - X-Ray (Artifactory), Trivy, CIS, Nessus, Sealed Secrets, SOPS, OWASP, Renovate Familiarity with Gen AI tools, working and extending (Claude Code skills etc.) Experience documenting microservice-based system architectures via modeling diagrams and effectively transitioning those architectures to implementation teams
