<p><strong>Main purpose:</strong></p><p>Performing professional translation activities and delegated duties depending on supervisor’s specialization and instructions and according to MSF protocols, standards and procedures, to ensure a proper representation and translation of MSF activities and core values.</p><p></p><p><strong>Main accountabilities:</strong></p><ul><li><p>Performing professional written and oral interpretation and translation activities according to supervisor’s specialisation (e.g. MD, RN, IC, Pharmacy, Mental Health, Lab, Logistics, Operations, HR), ensuring medical confidentiality, neutrality and respect towards patients, collaborators, authorities, and MSF staff.</p></li><li><p>Performing administrative tasks required by supervisor (arrangement of meetings, minute taking, and follow-up for patient care). Providing necessary feedback to supervisor following discussions and negotiations and. Assisting with report writing (MSF and Government required reports), ensuring that all meeting minutes are recorded and that translated documents are properly filed.</p></li><li><p>Depending on the supervisor’s specialisation and the needs of the respective department, establishing and maintaining professional contacts with relevant authorities and communicating MSF’s messages to MoH counterparts and authorities (specifically related to patient care).</p></li><li><p>Ensuring that supervisor is aware of cultural nuances when dealing with MoH authorities and counterparts to ensure a good working relationship. Educating supervisor on effective methods of culturally sensitive communication and informing international staff about local customs, tradition, etc. that will help in better communication and understanding of the context.</p></li><li><p>Immediately informing supervisor of any problems that might be linked to individual behaviour (counterproductive and/or culturally insensitivity) and declaring any “conflict of interest” when asked to translate (e.g. personal involvement).</p></li><li><p>Upholding MSF’s core principles, values, quality standards and Code of Conduct. Respecting MSF’s identification materials and not abusing their use aside from their intended purposes.</p></li><li><p>Observing security rules and regulations, NOT putting self and others in danger. Responsibilities Perform routine inspections of designated equipment under the arrangement of the O&M Supervisor, including checking battery temperature, abnormal noises from cabinets, cable overheating, fire detection probes, and the status of piping and valves; truthfully fill in inspection record forms. Assist the Supervisor in on-site hands-on work such as preventive maintenance, fault troubleshooting, battery module replacement, component replacement, and cabinet dust cleaning. Responsible for the daily care and maintenance of personal O&M tools; implement on-site 5S management after completion of work; collect and return waste batteries and work waste to the warehouse in a unified manner. Carry out local verification of equipment according to instructions issued by central control, and report the actual on-site operating conditions of the equipment. Strictly implement safety work management systems, implement protective measures for live-line and hot work, and immediately report any equipment abnormalities or safety hazards to superiors. Record maintenance process data, and assist the Supervisor in organizing maintenance ledgers and defect archive materials. Requirements Education and Major: Bachelor’s degree or above in Mechatronics, Electrical Operation, Power-related fields, or related majors. Work Experience: 1 year or more of hands-on frontline O&M experience in PV, energy storage, or substations. Certifications: Valid low-voltage electrician certificate; high-voltage electrician certificate preferred; proficient in the use of conventional O&M instruments such as multimeters, clamp meters, and infrared thermometers. Professional Knowledge: Understanding of the basic structure of lithium battery energy storage; mastery of basic electrical circuit troubleshooting and equipment maintenance skills; willing to follow team work assignments. Language: Able to recognize English equipment labels and safety warning signs. Other: Basic safety risk identification ability; able to adapt to three-shift rotation and outdoor equipment work on site; willing to accept long-term stationing at the project site.
