Job Description<br>Senior Design Engineer Pronox is a leading metal fabrication company specializing in decorative metal works, custom metal fabrication, and metal furniture for hospitality, commercial, and residential projects. We work with a wide range of materials and fabrication processes to deliver high-quality, customized products from design through production.<br>We are looking for a Senior Design Engineer to lead the design and engineering of metal furniture and custom metal fabrication projects. The candidate will be responsible for developing detailed manufacturing drawings, selecting suitable materials and fabrication methods, preparing BOMs, and coordinating with production and other departments to ensure designs are practical, accurate, and production-ready.<br>Responsibilities Lead the design and engineering of metal furniture, decorative metal works, and customized fabrication projects. Develop and review detailed 2D and 3D shop drawings using Solid Works and Auto CAD. Translate design concepts and client requirements into practical, production-ready designs. Prepare accurate Bill of Materials (BOM) Determine appropriate materials, fabrication methods, finishes, and assembly techniques. Coordinate closely with production, procurement, and other departments to ensure smooth execution. Review and approve drawings before releasing them for production. Provide technical support to the production team and assist in resolving fabrication and assembly challenges. Guide and support junior designers and engineers and review their drawings. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing architectural technical office activities, coordinating design and construction documentation, reviewing shop drawings, handling RFIs and material submittals, and ensuring compliance with project requirements, specifications, and applicable codes.
