This role is responsible for overseeing the entire fabric cutting operation, including planning cutting schedules, optimizing fabric usage, and ensuring accurate execution of markers and patterns. The Cutting Manager supervises cutting staff, coordinates with production, merchandising, and quality teams, and ensures that daily cutting targets are met in line with delivery timelines and quality standards. The role involves monitoring machinery and equipment, enforcing safety and environmental practices, and maintaining accurate records of fabric consumption, wastage, and outputs. The Cutting Manager is also expected to identify process improvements, support training of team members, and collaborate with management to meet production and efficiency goals.<br><strong>Qualifications<br></strong> <br><ul><li>Strong experience in cutting room operations, including marker making, fabric spreading, and cutting for denim and ready-made garments.</li><li>Proficiency in production planning and workflow management, with the ability to meet daily targets and optimize fabric utilization.</li><li>Solid knowledge of garment construction, patterns, and quality standards within large-scale manufacturing environments.</li><li>Experience supervising teams, providing guidance and training, and maintaining a safe, inclusive, and performance-focused work culture.</li><li>Ability to use cutting room machinery and tools, and familiarity with basic ERP or production tracking systems is preferred.</li><li>Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and a commitment to continuous improvement.</li><li>Effective communication and collaboration skills to work with production, merchandising, quality, and maintenance teams.</li><li>Relevant technical or vocational qualification in textiles, garment technology, or industrial production; a bachelor’s degree in a related field is an advantage.</li><li>Previous experience in denim or activewear manufacturing and exposure to international brands or export-oriented factories is a plus.</li><li>Demonstrated alignment with company values, including respect, teamwork, environmental awareness, and dedication to performance.</li></ul>
What you would do Manage the CTO's calendar, meetings and travel; triage the shared inbox and flag what needs a founder. Run the office — supplies, equipment, utilities, maintenance, visitors. Prepare and file documents for government bodies, banks and the commercial registry; work with the external accountant and lawyer. Onboard new hires: contract, social insurance, equipment, accounts, first-week schedule. Issue client invoices, track payments, and chase what is overdue. Collect supplier invoices and receipts for the accountant. Watch the subscriptions and vendor accounts — cloud hosting, payment providers, Saa S tools, freelancer platforms — and flag renewals and anything odd. Keep a simple monthly cash overview for the founders. Coordinate paperwork and correspondence with our German partner office, and track deadlines on German client contracts and compliance items. Keep Click Up tidy — tasks assigned, dates set, the week visible — and collect status from marketing, design and engineering before the weekly review. Draft the weekly client update from team input for a founder to approve; take meeting notes and see action items through. What we are looking for Three or more years as an executive assistant, office manager or operations coordinator. Fluent written and spoken English, and Arabic. Organised and reliable: you close loops without being reminded. Comfortable with numbers — invoices, basic spreadsheets, payment tracking. Discretion with financial and HR information, which is most of what crosses your desk. Google Workspace — Gmail, Calendar, Drive, Sheets — without thinking about it. Nice to have German, at A2 or above. A software company, agency or startup somewhere in your past. Click Up, Notion or a similar task tool. Basic bookkeeping or accounting coursework. · Supervise the implementation of the daily production plan and monitor the achievement of operational targets according to the approved programs. · Monitor the progress of production operations at all stages of the slaughterhouse, from receiving birds to cooling and delivery to warehouses. · Supervise the allocation of the workforce to production lines according to operational needs. · Monitor equipment and production line efficiency and coordinate with the maintenance department to address faults and reduce downtime. · Monitor performance and productivity indicators and take necessary corrective actions in case of deviations. · Track waste and spoilage rates, analyze their causes, and work on improving filtration (Yield) rates. · Ensure adherence to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and approved work instructions. · Supervise the application of quality and food safety requirements according to HACCP, GMP, GHP, SSOP systems. · Coordinate with the Quality, Veterinary, Maintenance, and Warehouse departments to ensure continuity of production operations. · Monitor the implementation of cleanliness and disinfection programs within production areas. · Immediate reporting of any risks that may affect food safety or continuity of operations. · Prepare daily production reports on production, productivity, waste, and faults and submit them to the direct manager. · Supervise training of workers, raise their technical efficiency, and periodically evaluate their performance. · Participate in implementing continuous improvement programs to raise operational efficiency and reduce operating costs. Responsibilities and duties: • Operate, preserve, and calibrate all equipment in the laboratory • Develop internal and external analyses plans for products and present them to the direct supervisor • Prepare samples sent for testing and ensure the safety and validity of the sample and completeness of its data approved by the Quality Management • Record, tag, and preserve the sample until testing and keep a reference sample and withdraw different samples if requested • Monitor the shelf life of chemicals and solutions used, and the tools necessary to perform tests • Participate in developing plans and procedures for periodic calibration of devices, tools, chemicals, solutions, and reference samples • Prepare samples correctly to ensure no interference or contamination and no impact on test accuracy or result validity • Perform analyses on samples and record results daily in the related logs and perform statistical analysis and present to the direct supervisor • Receive and inspect packaging materials received by the slaughterhouse and indicate their conformity to internal specifications • Apply global quality systems and standards effectively on product safety that align with the company's quality policies • Responsible for implementing the plans of quality systems management in the laboratory department within the quality management • Express opinions and present them to the direct supervisor for the sake of improving the efficiency and quality of work and products within his/her authority • Implement effective corrective actions for non-conforming cases within his/her scope of work • Follow the instructions and policies of quality, safety, and occupational health • Withdraw raw material samples, final products, and water according to the approved sampling plan • Receive samples, verify their integrity, and record them according to approved procedures • Conduct chemical analyses of products • Conduct microbiological analyses of water and products • Analyze the quality of water used in production • Monitor analysis results and report non-conforming cases immediately • Perform internal calibration of equipment • Ensure the validity of chemical reagents • Prepare daily analysis result reports – issue conformity certificates when needed – keep analysis result records according to the quality system Job requirements: • Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture (Food Science) or Sciences or Veterinary Medicine or equivalent • English language: preferably at least good in speaking and writing • Proficiency in computer software • 2 to 4 years of experience in food laboratories or poultry plants or food industries - ability to perform microbiological analyses of product and water samples • ability to test and declare conformity of packaging materials to specifications • ability to perform internal calibration of devices and measurement tools • ability to perform statistical analysis to present data and results for decision making HACCP.
