About the Job:<br>The BOM & Program Readiness Engineer is responsible for ensuring the technical and operational readiness of all components required for vehicle production. This includes maintaining accurate Bills of Materials (BOMs), validating engineering changes, and coordinating cross-functional readiness activities for new models, part introductions, and model-year updates. New programs/models launch management is an integral part of the role responsibilities, following projects milestones and timeline to successful launch. The role safeguards product integrity by ensuring all specifications, documentation, internal and external production requirements and approvals are complete before production launch.<br>Responsibilities:<br>Maintain fully accurate and up-to-date BOMs for all vehicle models and variants. Review and validate Engineering Change Notices (ECNs), ensuring timely and correct implementation with CKD planning, Material planning, Engineering, and Production teams. Manage ECNs impact on program’s manufacturing BOMs. Ensure accuracy of material master data, including UoM, sourcing, and part classification. Manages new models and program launches through coordination with Engineering, Quality, Production, and Supply Chain teams to ensure readiness for new components, tooling, and model launches. Track tooling readiness, supplier approvals, PPAP status, and other launch-critical milestones. Lead structured readiness reviews for new model introductions and model-year changes. Support cost-reduction initiatives through BOM analysis and component optimization. The Senior Technical Architecture Engineer plays a critical role in coordinating technical documentation, construction detailing, and acting as a bridge between design and construction.<br>Accountabilities / Responsibilities· Participate in receiving the Schematic Design package through the direct manager to initiate the Design Development phase.· Distribute tasks to the team and follow up on their execution to ensure quality and timely delivery.· Coordinate with the Design and Urban Planning departments to understand the project’s design vision and specific requirements to proceed with design development.· Cross-check floor plans, marketing perspectives, and saleable area documents to avoid conflicts among them or with project regulations.· Ensure the application of code requirements, fulfillment of consultants’ requirements, and verification of the project’s building footprint to comprehensively study all project aspects.· Prepare the Basis of Design Report (BODR) to explain the project’s architectural elements, review it with the direct manager, and submit it to the client to present the overall project concept.· Propose a structural concept that aligns with the architectural design while preserving the architectural product’s form and function, review it with the direct manager, and then coordinate with the specialized consultant.· Send architectural drawings to the relevant consultants to receive requirements and conditions from other disciplines (Structural, Electromechanical, Landscape, Urban Design, Interior Design, etc.).· Follow up and participate in the preparation of all architectural drawings (floor plans, elevations, sections, etc.) according to applicable codes and local building regulations for review with the direct manager.· Discuss consultants’ proposed revisions with the direct manager to reach a final proposal that maintains the integrity of the architectural design.· Prepare permit drawings (floor plans, elevations, architectural sections) for submission to the relevant government authorities to obtain the building permit.· Coordinate and verify all architectural drawings with all other disciplines (Structural, Electromechanical, etc.).· Coordinate between the Technical Office and the Design Department to determine and select the project’s finishes.· Complete, prepare, and follow up on detailed architectural drawings (wall sections, door and window schedules, etc.) to issue the tender drawing package.· Complete, prepare, and follow up on final architectural drawings (Issued for Construction – IFC) based on the owner’s request and respond to site inquiries.· Supervise and follow up on all tasks assigned to subordinate executive architects.· Participate in setting work plans for all assigned projects.<br>Job Competences· Coordination and leadership.· Time and project management.· Problem-solving and decision-making.· Accuracy and attention to technical details.· Teamwork and collaboration.· Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines efficiently.· Good communication and reporting abilities.<br>Professional Qualification & Experience · Bachelor’s degree in Architectural Engineering.· Minimum of 6–10 years of experience in technical architectural roles.· Strong knowledge of construction methods, detailing, and building codes.· Proficiency in Auto CAD, Revit, and other industry-standard software.· Experience with large-scale or complex building projects is a plus.· Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.· Strong leadership and coordination skills.
