Company Description Régisseur App is building the Operating System for the Global Entertainment & Hospitality Industry.
Our platform connects artists, entertainers, venues, event organizers, producers, promoters, vendors, and service providers into one unified ecosystem. We are developing an enterprise-grade platform covering talent management, venue operations, event planning, ticketing, secure payments, digital contracts, project collaboration, vendor management, and business networking.
As we scale our platform, we are building a highly reliable, distributed backend architecture capable of supporting millions of users, complex workflows, financial transactions, and real-time collaboration.
We are looking for a Microservices / . NET Backend & Data Architecture Engineer to design, develop, and optimize the core backend systems powering Régisseur App.


Role Overview The Microservices / . NET Backend & Data Architecture Engineer will be responsible for designing scalable backend services, defining data architecture patterns, implementing enterprise-level APIs, and ensuring the reliability, security, and performance of our distributed systems.
You will work closely with backend engineers, frontend developers, mobile developers, Dev Ops engineers, and product teams to build a robust technology foundation for a global platform.
This role requires deep expertise in . NET backend development, microservices architecture, distributed systems, database design, messaging infrastructure, and cloud-ready enterprise applications.


Key Responsibilities
Backend & Microservices Development Design and develop scalable microservices using C# / . NET Core / ASP. NET Core Build secure, high-performance RESTful APIs and backend services Define service boundaries following Domain-Driven Design (DDD) principles Implement scalable architecture patterns including:Microservices Event-driven architecture CQRSRepository patterns Dependency Injection Clean Architecture Develop reusable backend components and shared libraries Optimize backend performance, reliability, and scalability

Distributed Systems & Messaging Design asynchronous communication between services Implement messaging solutions using:Rabbit MQMessage queues Event buses Background workers Handle distributed transactions and eventual consistency Build reliable event-driven workflows for:Payments Notifications Booking systems Contracts User activities Business workflows

Data Architecture & Database Engineering Design and optimize enterprise database architectures Develop complex database solutions using:Postgre SQLSQL Server Redis caching NoSQL databases when required Design:Database schemas Data models Indexing strategies Query optimization Data migration strategies Ensure data integrity across distributed services

Financial & Transaction Systems Support architecture for Régisseur App’s financial ecosystem including:Secure payment workflows Transaction processing Revenue sharing Artist payouts Vendor payments Digital contracts Financial reporting systems Experience with financial systems, accounting platforms, or transaction-heavy applications is highly valuable.

API Security & Enterprise Standards Implement authentication and authorization systems:JWTOAuth2Identity providers Role-based access control (RBAC) Apply security best practices:Encryption Secure API design Data protection Audit logging Build systems compliant with enterprise security requirements

Cloud & Dev Ops Collaboration Work with Dev Ops teams to support:Containerized applications using Docker Kubernetes-based deployments CI/CD pipelines Cloud infrastructure (AWS / Azure / Google Cloud) Monitoring and observability:Logging Metrics Distributed tracing Performance monitoring

Required Qualifications5+ years of backend software engineering experience Strong expertise in:C#. NET Core ASP. NET Core Entity Framework Core Proven experience designing and building microservices architectures Strong understanding of distributed systems Experience with:Rabbit MQ or similar messaging systems REST APIsEvent-driven architectures Background processing Advanced SQL knowledge Strong Postgre SQL or SQL Server experience Experience designing scalable database architectures Understanding of software architecture principles and design patterns

Preferred Qualifications Experience building Saa S platforms or enterprise applications Experience with marketplace, booking, ticketing, or financial platforms Knowledge of:Domain Driven Design (DDD) CQRSEvent Sourcing Saga patterns Distributed caching Experience with payment systems and transaction processing Experience working with high-volume applications Cloud architecture experience (AWS/Azure/GCP) Experience mentoring backend engineers
