Role purpose Own the finance engine across all markets. This role ensures that revenue, costs, margins, and profitability are accurately captured, forecasted, and actively managed. The Finance Manager partners with Sales, Operations, and Country Heads to enforce pricing discipline, margin floors, and data integrity, and to ensure the company hits its profit targets, not just revenue. This is a hands-on role combining FP&A, pricing, commercial analytics, and systems ownership (Odoo + Excel).<br><br>Key responsibilities1) Commercial performance ownership Own gross margin, contribution margin, and net profitability by client, job, and country.oversee margin floors, markup multiples, and pricing guardrails by job type and source. Identify margin leakage, pass-through disguised as revenue, and cost overruns.2) FP&A: planning, forecasting, and targets Build and maintain bottom-up and top-down forecasts Translate annual profit targets into assignable monthly sales targets for commercial teams. Reverse-engineer topline targets to deliver EBITDA and net profit objectives. Run scenario analysis (price uplift, volume shift, cost inflation, GM floor changes). 3) Data governance, QA, and consolidation Define and enforce standard data structures across markets. Own monthly data QA:duplicates, missing costs, zero-cost rows, negative margins, outliers, date inconsistencies. Ensure costs are fully allocated (actual or estimated with documented logic). Consolidate multi-country data into a single source of truth.4) Pricing, quoting, and deal support Partner with Sales to:approve pricing below floor,structure pass-through + fee models,assess deal profitability before commitment. Build pricing tools and calculators (Excel-based, auditable). Review large or strategic deals pre-signature.5) Systems & reporting (Odoo + Excel power user) Own commercial reporting logic in Odoo:ensure correct capture of jobs, invoices, costs, and client attributes. Build and maintain Excel-based commercial models:formula-driven, refreshable, auditable. Automate reporting using Power Query and standardized templates. Train country teams on correct data entry and reporting standards.6) Executive reporting & decision support Deliver a monthly commercial dashboard:revenue, GM%, GP, mix, client concentration, pass-through rate.. Present insights and recommendations to leadership:where to grow, where to reprice, where to stop. Track execution of commercial actions and quantify impact.<br><br>Deliverables (what this person is accountable for) Monthly consolidated commercial P&L (by country, client, job).12-month rolling forecast with profit scenarios. Annual budget and mid-year reforecast. Client profitability scorecards. Pricing and margin governance framework. Sales team targets (Client × Month) with profitability indicators.<br><br>Required profile Experience5–8+ years in Finance / FP&A / Business Finance. Strong exposure to pricing, margin management, and deal economics. Multi-country or multi-entity experience preferred. Job/project-based business experience is a strong plus. Technical (must-have) Advanced Excel (Power Query, pivots, dynamic formulas, scenario models, power bi). Strong experience with ERP systems (Odoo strongly preferred). Ability to build end-to-end financial models with clear assumptions and controls. Commercial & behavioral Strong commercial judgment Very detail-oriented with a strong control mindset.
