Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Senior Mechanical BIM Engineer role based in North Coast - South Med Project. The Senior Mechanical BIM Engineer will lead the development, coordination, and review of mechanical BIM models, ensuring compliance with project specifications, standards, and timelines. Responsibilities include creating and updating detailed 3D mechanical models and shop drawings, coordinating with multidisciplinary teams to resolve clashes, and supporting design optimization for constructability and efficiency. The role involves overseeing mechanical systems design, reviewing installation details, and providing technical guidance to junior engineers and draftspeople. The Senior Mechanical BIM Engineer will also collaborate with site teams to support installation, testing, and commissioning activities, and contribute to continuous improvement of BIM workflows and standards. Qualifications Strong background in Mechanical Engineering with proven experience in mechanical systems design and coordination. Proficiency in Computer-Aided Design (CAD) tools and BIM software for creating, modifying, and reviewing mechanical models and drawings. Experience in Maintenance planning and support for mechanical systems, including preventive and corrective maintenance considerations in design. Hands-on experience with Inspection of mechanical installations, quality assurance of materials and workmanship, and compliance with codes and standards.
