Develop and maintain Agent Card definitions. Implement and maintain the /.well-known/agent.json endpoint for agent discovery. Ensure Agent Card schemas accurately describe agent capabilities, endpoints, and interaction requirements. Asynchronous & Event-Driven Communication Design asynchronous communication flows using Server-Sent Events (SSE), webhooks, and push notifications. Implement task lifecycle handling and status tracking. Build event-driven mechanisms for monitoring agent execution and communication. Support reliable communication across distributed agents and services. Handle asynchronous failures, retries, timeouts, and other distributed-system concerns. API & Integration Engineering Design and implement REST APIs, including building and maintaining production endpoints. Develop API routing and integration patterns for agent-to-agent communication. Implement secure and reliable service-to-service interactions. Integrate agents with enterprise platforms and supporting services. Ensure API contracts and integration patterns are consistent, maintainable, and scalable. Scalability, Security & Reliability Design secure communication mechanisms between distributed agents and services. Optimize backend services for performance, reliability, and scalability. Implement appropriate error handling, monitoring, and operational controls. Troubleshoot production and integration issues. Conduct testing and validation of agent communication workflows. Contribute to architecture decisions and engineering best practices. Collaboration & Documentation Collaborate with AI, platform, architecture, and security teams to support the enterprise multi-agent ecosystem. Work with technical stakeholders to define integration requirements and connectivity patterns. Participate in code reviews, technical design discussions, and architecture reviews. Produce technical documentation covering APIs, integration standards, Agent Cards, and agent connectivity patterns.
