Reviewing, Coordinating & finalizing field design changes. Preparing presentations, design reports & functional reports as per the instructions of the Line Manager Reviewing of Material specifications, list of manufacturers, available suppliers and general specifications. Technical clarification with the vendors for their proposed equipment. Design stormwater drainage systems (pipelines, culverts, channels, manholes). Perform hydraulic and hydrological calculations (rainfall, runoff, flood levels). Size pipes and slopes using standards and software. Design fire protection systems (hydrants, sprinklers, hose reels). Calculate water demand and pressure requirements. Prepare detailed drawings using software like Auto CAD, Revit, or Civil 3D. Attend design meetings and site visits. Ensure safety, reliability, and cost-effectiveness. Prepare design reports and calculations. Review shop drawings and material submittals. Develop basis of design reports (BODR) and technical memorandums for small-to- large size projects, setting criteria for following design stages. Review the design and specification of fire safety systems (fire alarm systems, notification systems, automation of Gas/water fire extinguishing /emergency escape systems). Ability to calculate number of nozzles, gas capacity, pipeline selection/layout, air pressure and water pressure etc. Routine Report & Write Technical note; Maintaining complete records and archives as company standards.<br>Requirements Education: Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or related field. Experience: Minimum 5 years' experience in design and reviewing design, installation, testing and commissioning for MEP systems for similar Projects. <p>We are looking for a Finance Database Engineer to join our growing team in Cairo. This role sits at the intersection of finance, technology, and engineering, and will be responsible for building and maintaining scalable data solutions that support financial reporting and operational decision-making. This is a hands-on role with significant ownership, where you will work closely with finance and operations teams to improve data visibility, accuracy, and efficiency across the organization. Primary Responsibilities: Design, build, and maintain data pipelines and applications using Microsoft Azure and Microsoft Fabric Develop and optimize SQL data models to support financial reporting and analysis Build and maintain Power BI dashboards and reporting solutions for business stakeholders Ensure data accuracy and integrity through validation, reconciliation, and issue investigation Own end-to-end data workflows, from ingestion through transformation and reporting Collaborate with finance and operations teams to translate business needs into scalable data solutions Identify opportunities to improve data processes, automation, and system performance Work closely with IT teams to ensure security, governance, and compliance of financial data.
