Key responsibilities: 1. Invoicing and revenue recording: Review sales orders and reconcile them with stock issuances (to ensure issued quantities match sold quantities) before issuing the invoice. Issue accounts receivable sales invoices on credit and cash accurately, ensuring the correct prices and quantities applied, according to agreed sale terms. Record the necessary journal entries to prove revenue, accounts receivable, and VAT or other taxes. Follow up on recording sales returns invoices and issue the necessary credit/debit notes to customers. 2. Collections and cash flow management: Regularly and effectively monitor customer accounts to ensure collection on due dates. Prepare periodic customer account statements and send them for reconciliation and reminder of outstanding amounts. Record all cash receipts, bank transfers, and checks received in the accounting system as soon as they are received. Monitor checks and promissory notes to ensure they are presented to the bank on their due dates and record any returned checks and the corresponding accounting treatment. 3. Analysis and monitoring of customer accounts: Prepare Aging Reports periodically (daily/weekly/monthly) and analyze overdue accounts. Coordinate with the sales and collections departments to implement collection strategies and reduce bad debts. Implement and monitor approved credit policies for customers. Carry out necessary reconciliations for customer accounts, including settlements of discounts granted (trade discount, cash discount, bonus) and expenses that may be deducted from their balances. 4. Inventory and returns: Record and process sales returns of frozen food after verifying their condition and conformity with return policies. Monitor related inventory balances (such as return stock) and reconcile any variances arising from sales and returns. Monitor exemptions that may arise from returns of frozen products and their accounting treatment. 5. Compliance and procedures: Ensure all sales and collection activities comply with company policies, accounting standards, and tax laws. Collaborate with internal and external auditors to provide documents related to customer accounts and revenues.
