small, senior, fast-moving product team.<br> About the Role: We are looking for an experienced Senior Mobile Engineer with deep native Android expertise to build high-quality, scalable, and secure applications.<br> You will play a key role in designing application architecture, implementing new features, improving performance, and mentoring engineers, while collaborating closely with product, design, backend, QA, and iOS teams.<br> The ideal candidate has strong expertise in native Android development and modern Kotlin-based architecture, and is comfortable working in a fast-paced, product-focused environment with a strong sense of ownership.<br> Responsibilities • Design, develop, and maintain high-quality native Android applications.<br> • Build scalable and maintainable solutions using modern Android architecture.<br> • Lead technical design discussions and contribute to system architecture decisions.<br> • Collaborate with Product, Design, Backend, QA, and iOS teams.<br> • Write clean, testable, and reusable code following best engineering practices.<br> • Optimize application performance, memory usage, startup time, and battery consumption.<br> • Ensure application stability through unit testing, UI testing, and code reviews.<br> • Integrate RESTful APIs and collaborate with backend teams on API design.<br> • Mentor junior developers and promote engineering excellence.<br> • Participate in Agile development processes and continuous delivery practices.<br> • Drive technical improvements and help establish engineering standards.<br> Social concepts.<br> Android Development • Strong experience with native Android development.<br> • Deep understanding of the Android SDK and Jetpack libraries.<br> • Excellent knowledge of the Android application lifecycle and platform internals.<br> • Strong understanding of Android components: Activities, Fragments, Services, Broadcast Receivers, and Content Providers.<br> Modern Android Development • Jetpack Compose, Coroutines, and Kotlin Flow.<br> • WorkManager, Navigation Component, and ViewModel.<br> • Dependency Injection (Hilt / Dagger preferred).<br> Architecture • Strong understanding of MVVM, MVI, and Clean Architecture.<br> • Modular architecture, SOLID principles, and separation of concerns.<br> System Design • Experience designing scalable mobile architectures.<br> • Ability to make architectural decisions and evaluate trade-offs.<br> • Understanding of application modularization and feature separation.<br> Networking • REST APIs, JSON serialization, and backend integration.<br> • Error handling, authentication flows, and network caching.<br> Performance • Strong understanding of UI rendering performance and memory management.<br> • Threading and concurrency, startup optimization, and battery optimization.<br> • ANR prevention, plus performance profiling and debugging.<br> Concurrency • Kotlin Coroutines, Flow, and Dispatchers.<br> • Structured concurrency, threading models, and background processing.<br> Testing • Unit testing, UI testing, and integration testing.<br> • Test-Driven Development (TDD) and mocking frameworks.<br> Development Practices • Git, pull request workflows, and code reviews.<br> • CI-friendly development practices and Agile / Scrum methodologies.<br> Soft Skills • Strong ownership problem-solving and analytical skills.<br> Nice to Have • Native iOS development experience using Swift / SwiftUI.<br> • Experience building FinTech or financial applications.<br> • Experience with offline-first applications.<br> • Local persistence technologies such as Room, SQLite, and DataStore.<br> • Experience with CI/CD pipelines.<br> • Experience with analytics platforms (Firebase Analytics, Mixpanel, CleverTap, etc.<br>). • Experience with A/B testing, experimentation frameworks, and feature flags.<br> • Experience implementing mobile security best practices, including: – Encrypted local storage.<br> – SSL certificate pinning.<br> – Secure authentication and authorization flows.<br> – Secure handling of sensitive user data.<br> – Android Keystore usage.<br> Preferred Experience • 5+ years of professional Android development experience.<br> • Experience delivering production applications at scale.<br> • Experience mentoring engineers and conducting code reviews.<br> • Experience working with cross-functional teams in Agile environments.<br> • Proven ability to own features from design through production release.<br> What We're Looking For A Model This is an on-site role based in Cairo, Egypt .<br> Our team works primarily from the office to stay closely aligned in a fast-moving product environment, with up to 13 work-from-home days per
