We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Construction Project Engineer to support Project Managers across multiple active commercial construction projects within a fast-paced General Contractor / Design-Build environment. This role has a strong focus on submittals, quantity takeoffs, RFIs, project coordination, document control, and cost support. The ideal candidate is comfortable managing several projects at the same time, shifting priorities when needed, and coordinating effectively with subcontractors, consultants, design teams, and internal stakeholders.<br>Key Responsibilities Support Project Managers with daily project coordination across multiple active projects. Manage submittals and RFIs end-to-end, including shop drawings, product data, samples, tracking, follow-up, and coordination with architects, engineers, and subcontractors. Perform quantity takeoffs and support estimating and preconstruction activities across multiple construction scopes. Review and coordinate plans, specifications, shop drawings, addenda, revisions, and other technical documentation. Support scope reviews, subcontractor bid comparisons, and identification of potential scope gaps. Coordinate with project and field teams to ensure drawings, quantities, specifications, and site conditions remain aligned. Add the meeting minutes agenda, action items and distribute them to the attendees Support procurement, subcontractor documentation, cost tracking, invoice/pay application review, and change documentation.
