Conducts risk assessments of daily activities required to ensure a safe work environment and to maintain personal safety and the safety of others. Supervises Electrical & instrumentation and control system installation work, records notes, and reports them to the project contractor. Supervises Electrical & instrumentation calibration with the installation contractor. Attends the daily meeting of project engineers with the contractor and ensures implementation according to the schedule and implementation of the notes reported. Supervises the operation of the equipment cold run test Supervises the implementation of contractors' work and ensures that work is carried out in accordance with occupational health and safety instructions and the company's standard systems Supervises the operation of equipment, sequence testing, fault testing, and protection devices, and ensures their operation in the main control room.<br>WHO ARE LAFARGE PEOPLE? We're looking for Electric Generator Maintenance Engineer to support in one of the strategic projects in New Capital. Will be responsible for the routine care, diagnostic troubleshooting, and repair of diesel generator sets and control systems. This role includes hands-on technical execution, programming control panels, commissioning synchronization panels, and supervising field installations.<br>Key Responsibilities Preventive Care: Perform routine maintenance on diesel generator sets, including oil changes, filter replacements, and coolant level checks. Troubleshooting: Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical issues, such as starting failures, operating inefficiencies, or unexpected shutdowns. Testing: Conduct rigorous repairs, troubleshooting, and diagnostic tests on diverse diesel generators. Controller Programming: Install, configure, and program specialized controllers including Deepsea, Com Ap, Datakom, and Emko. Panel Commissioning: Execute the commissioning and testing of generator synchronization panels. Installation & Deployment: Supervise diesel generator installation, commissioning, and initial start-up phases on-site. Protocol Adherence: Maintain strict alignment with site engineering standards and military security protocols.<br>Requirements & Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Mechatronics. Deep knowledge of diesel engine mechanics, power generation systems, and control panel automation. Proven field experience (2:4 years) with Deepsea, Com Ap, Datakom, or Emko controller units. Project Location: On-site deployment at a strategic project within Egypt's New Administrative Capital. Ability to strictly comply with military security protocols and rigorous site access safety rules.
