Reporting to the Group Treasurer, this role designs and delivers financial risk-management solutions for the Bank and its clients. Working with the Treasurer and Client Relations, you will expand the client base and boost non-funded treasury revenues in line with the Strategic Plan. This role requires a hands-on, self-starter with a passion for Global Africa who can hit the ground running and drive results with minimal supervision.<br><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong><br><strong>a. Treasury and Markets Business & Product Development</strong><br>• Develop and maintain business plans for prospective Treasury and Markets balance sheet financial risk solutions, including financial performance projections, SWOT analyses, and clearly articulated value propositions.<br>• Collaborate with Client Relations and product partners to originate and structure new Treasury and Markets-linked assets, investments, and hedging solutions for clients.<br>• Conduct ongoing reviews of the Bank's asset and liability portfolio to identify clients with hedging requirements and assess associated revenue and business potential, in partnership with Client Relations and relevant internal stakeholders.<br>• Identify and evaluate new Treasury and Markets product streams that enhance the Bank's value proposition and meet evolving client needs.<br>• Prepare and present recommendations to the Treasurer and senior management based on product business cases and expected financial performance.<br><strong>b. <p><span>To support the local SAP entities in meeting their data protection and privacy compliance obligations, SAP has established a global network of Data Protection and Privacy professionals. This network consists of local Data Protection Officers (DPOs) and Data Protection and Privacy Coordinators (DPPCs) that report to the management of the SAP entities by which they are hired and to SAP's global Data Protection & Privacy team, reporting to SAP's Group Data Protection Officer.</span></p><br>
<p><span>We are looking for an experienced <strong>Lead Senior Legal Counsel </strong>to serve as the local Data Protection Officer (DPO) for Egypt and as Data Protection and Privacy Coordinator (DPPC) for Arabian countries including the UAE and Saudi Arabia, responsible for leading data protection compliance strategy across the assigned country responsibility.</span></p><br> <p><strong><span>EXPECTATIONS AND TASKS</span></strong></p><br> <p><span>The role is responsible for ensuring SAP's compliance with Egypt's data protection regulations, GDPR, and data protection laws across assigned Arabian countries. This role involves collaborating closely with the global data protection and privacy team, local business units, senior management, and external regulatory authorities to manage data protection risks and drive data protection and privacy awareness across the organization. </span></p><br>
<p><span>Under Law No. 151 of 2020, the local DPO is a legally recognized role that requires formal registration with the regulator. The candidate must meet the following statutory requirements:</span></p><br>

<li><span>Represent SAP's Group Data Protection Officer within the assigned region and serve as the direct, primary point of contact for the Egyptian PDPC and other regional supervisory authorities.</span></li>
<li><span>Drive the development, implementation, and maintenance of local data protection and privacy policies, standards, and procedures aligned with global requirements in accordance with SAP Global Data Protection and Privacy Strategy.</span></li>
<li><span>Assist local Legal Representatives (who carry statutory and criminal liability under Egyptian law) and Chief Finance Officers in fulfilling their local data protection responsibilities and dedicated legal entity processes.</span></li>

<li><span>Monitor and advise LoBs implementing local procedures (Records of Processing Activities - ROPA) of data processing operations for the Egyptian entity, ensuring it is available for inspection by the PDPC.</span></li>
<li><span>Establish and monitor compliance with data protection policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements across all assigned entities.</span></li>
<li><span>Manage data breach response protocols, according to SAP’s established processes, ensuring that any personal data breach affecting Egyptian data subjects is reported to the PDPC and affected individuals within the statutory 72-hour window, in compliance with Article 9(6) of the PDPL.</span></li>
<li><span>Act as the dedicated point of contact for data subjects, establishing clear channels to receive, investigate, and resolve requests, complaints, and inquiries regarding their rights under Egyptian law and regional frameworks.</span></li>
<li><span>Support the execution of cross-border data transfer impact assessments and obtain necessary data transfer licenses and permits from the PDPC as required by Egyptian law.</span></li>

Under the supervision of MHPSS officer and the Mental Health Psycho Social Support (MHPSS) Technical Advisor (TA), the psychologist will be responsible for providing individual/group sessions for UASC and child at risk and youth need psychosocial support identified through the project activities and referrals. S/he will be responsible to conduct the needed assessments and customize the session topics based on the identified needs of the target group. S/he will also be responsible for organizing group support and awareness sessions to UASC children and children at risk and their families, and refer those with acute psychological needs to specialized services.</p><br> <p>The project is funded from the Swiss Development Corporation (SDC) and will be based in Aswan. The project duration is one year from January 2026 to December 2026. The project will be targeting Sudanese community in Aswan based in Aswan field office, and the team will be working and based across 3 friendly scpaces in areas with high Sudanese concentration as Karkar and Nasr Elnuba, working on multisectors</p><br> <p>- Child Protection: case management for children exposed to protection risks, besides providing emergency cash and protection for cash. It will also include mentorship program for children especially the unacompanied and separated children. Additionally, there will be capacity building for community leaders and teachers on CP and safeguarding. Furthermore, there will be awareness raising for children on their rights, besides awareness for their parents as well.</p><br> <p>- MHPSS: providing groups and individual mental health and psychosocial support to the children in groups and also individually according the care plan of each child. There will be also positive parenting groups conducted for the parents. Moreover, there will be community events held to enhance their wellbeing and integration.</p><br> <p>- Education: it will include renovation for community learning centers of Sudanese community, beside training to the teachers on the main technical and socio-emotional mechanisms. The project will provide education grants as well for the children enrolled in these centers. There will be also programs provided to the children who dropped out to enable them to return back to school, and other program for children who have weak literacy skills.</p><br> <p>- Livelihood: the component will have two tracks; wage employment and self employment. The 1st track will include capacity building for the beneficiaries followed by matching to employment opportunity. Beneficiaries will be supported by cash assistance and apprenticeship for 3 months. The 2nd track will be self employment starting with capacity building for the beneficiaries then provision of seed fund to start their business. Beneficiaries will have at least 3 month of coaching and monitoring. Vocational training will be also provided based on need.</p><br> <p>- Cash Assistance: the project will provide multipurpose cash assistance for vulnerable families, besides winteriation assistance as well. There will be also awareness raising on money management for those receiving the cash assistance.</p><br> <p>- Health: will include emergency nutrition screening and rapid nutritional support provided to newly arrived crisis-affected children and women. Additionally, there will be support to the public health system by training provision to staff and providing medical supplies. There will be also trainings for mental health, and GBV-related service providers in Aswan. S/he ensures that resources are strategically allocated, efficiently utilized, and directly linked to results and impact. </p><br> <p>The Programme Support Analyst works in close collaboration with Programme Team Leads, Operations, and the Policy and Partnerships function to ensure that programme design and delivery are fully aligned with financing strategies and partnership priorities. The role provides the analytical and quality assurance backbone that enables effective engagement with donors and government counterparts, translating strategic priorities into bankable and results-oriented programmes.</p><br> <p>The Programme Support Analyst also collaborates closely with the Communications function to ensure that verified results and impact are effectively communicated, enhancing UNDP Egypt’s visibility, credibility, and positioning as a trusted development partner.</p><br> <p>UNDP adopts a portfolio approach to accommodate changing business needs and leverage linkages across interventions to achieve its strategic goals. Therefore, UNDP personnel are expected to work across units, functions, teams, and projects in multidisciplinary teams in order to enhance and enable horizontal collaboration.</p><br> <p><u>Incumbent is expected to display managerial innovation, initiative, and a strong client orientation that encourages and rewards excellence in programme delivery and implementation. S/he might be required to undertake emerging tasks and additional duties as requested by senior management.</u> </p><br> <p><b>Duties and Responsibilities:</b></p><br> <p><b>1.Ensure full compliance of the programme portfolio with UNDP Programme and Operations Policies and Procedures</b> <b>(POPP), RBM standards, and Internal Control Frameworks (ICF), maintaining high-quality project design, implementation, and reporting:</b></p><br> <p>• Ensure programme implementation compliance with UNDP rules, regulations and policies, effective management of financial recording/reporting system, timely follow-up of audit recommendations, implementation of internal controls, and proper functioning of a client-oriented financial resources management system;<br> • Perform managerial and oversight functions in the ERP as delegated by the Resident Representative in the approved localized Internal Control Framework (ICF).<br> • Coordinate compliance and oversight across the Programme and Operations teams, programme management, establishing tools for accurate data on programme performance;<br> • Set-up tools and strategies to establish the CO as a center excellence in corporate performance management dashboards and reviews in collaboration with the Operations Manager;<br> • Advise senior management on oversight, compliance and assurance issues affecting country programme and operations. <br> • Ensure SoPs and processes are gender sensitive and promote gender equality. <br> </p><br> <p><b>2.Oversee financial planning, budgeting, and expenditure monitoring across the portfolio, ensuring efficient use of resources and strong alignment between financial delivery and development results.:</b></p><br> <p>• Provide regular overview and analysis of all type of resources including local cost sharing, engagement facility, catalytic core resources (TRAC) and strategic resources allocated by the Headquarters (HQ)<br> • Regularly analyze and prepare strategic financial overview and analysis reports for senior management, including information related to programme and projects financial status, revenue management (GMS/DPC), expenditure, budgets, delivery rate, forecasts for development projects, regular monitoring of pipelines, etc.;<br> • Ensure that the project budget includes all direct and indirect costs required implement the project, and strong justification for the costing.<br> • Work with programme managers to monitor delivery of core and non-core resources and pro-actively alert management on projects with delivery issues;<br> • Ensure timely conduct of HACT yearly audit exercise (optimal planning, adherence to OAI calendar, implementation of audit recommendations, monitoring and follow-up of audit issues, etc.);<br> • Coordinate the timely preparation and submission of the HACT assurance plan as well as ensuring its effective implementation (timely conduct of spot checks and release of associated reports, liaising with programme personnel for the set-up of assurance calendar, etc.);<br> • Regularly monitor HACT Dashboard and all HACT indicators in the corporate performance tools such as the Integrated Finance Dashboard (IFD), UNDP at Glance, monitor the implementation of HACT and recommend solutions to challenges in implementing HACT;<br> • Play a leadership role in inter-agency HACT task forces. </p><br> <p><b>3.Ensure high-quality, timely donor reporting and financial analysis, including oversight of cost-sharing and trust fund agreements, and provide strategic inputs to resource mobilization efforts by strengthening the credibility and evidence base of programme results:</b></p><br> <ul> <li>Identify approaches and modalities to achieve management targets and increased efficiency resulting in delivery acceleration, sound financial management and optimal programme/project implementation;</li> <li>Provide quality assurance of programmes and projects including LPAC quality assurance, including advice on implementation modalities and programme design.</li> <li>Provide clearance for financially substantive or high-risk contracts for NIM projects and DIM Letter of Agreements (LOAs), Responsible Party Agreements (RPAs), Low grant values or any other legal instruments, etc.;</li> <li>Coordinate the development of tools to monitor and tracking of pipelines, timely set-up and update of pipelines in Quantum and recording of contribution financing agreements, etc.</li> <li>Support the preparation of Financing Agreements and engagement with development partners to ensure they understand UNDP standardized agreements and liaise with the Legal Office for any required waivers/exceptions; </li> <li>Support the presentation of budgets in Concept Notes and Project Documents to potential donors; </li> </ul> <p><b>4. Lead the implementation of programme and project quality assurance as well as RBM systems, ensuring robust planning, monitoring, and evaluation frameworks, and promoting the use of data and analytics to drive performance and adaptive management: </b></p><br> <p>• Ensure programme and project quality assurance is conducted at design, implementation and closure, including SES etc. <br> • Ensure portfolio approach is adopted to strengthen integration, coherence and efficiencies across programming. <br> • Ensure effective application of RBM approaches and tools, establishment of targets and monitoring of achievement of development results;<br> • Ensure robust system of monitoring and reporting, as well as evaluation is planned and operationalized according to programme and project results frameworks and performance indicators; <br> • Ensure continuous improvements through scanning of new approaches, tools, and systems within and outside of UNDP, and adapted / adopted within the CO. <br> • Provide substantive advisory services to Programme Team Leaders and Operation personnel, for delivery acceleration and efficient project implementation. <br><b>5. Strengthen risk identification and mitigation measures, ensure audit preparedness, and oversee follow-up on audit recommendations to safeguard compliance and minimize operational and financial risks.:</b></p><br> <p>• Provide strategic advice to senior management on risk management, including risk identification and monitoring, risk management measures, particularly potential areas of high risk. <br> • Establish a risk management strategy and framework by developing tools for risk management, compliance and assurance system and process from project to CO levels; <br> • Ensure appropriate analysis for risk management at programme, operations and project staff level;<br> • Support senior management to ensure risk management is central part of programme management, identify, evaluate and advice on significant exposures to risk;<br> • Adapt existing risk management tools to ensure mechanisms are in place and functioning, advise and develop new tools and procedures;<br> • Ensure reporting on risk to Senior Management and HQ is clear and consistent and accompanied by actionable recommendations;<br> • Provide advisory services, lead and undertake cross-practice capacity risk assessments;<br> • Evaluate the effectiveness and efficiency of controls and promote the continuous improvement of the control environment;<br> • Effectively communicate on risk and control systems and information with appropriate units;<br> • Routinely monitor financial exception reports for unusual activities, transactions, and assess anomalies;<br> • Coordinate the review of CO risk logs to ensure that risks are adequately assessed and escalated if need be while establishing adequate processes to mitigate those risks.<br> </p><br> <p><b>6.
