<p><h4>Role purpose:</h4>
<p>As part of our expanding Global Business Services (GBS) centre in Egypt, the Accounts Payable Associate is responsible for accurate and timely processing of vendor invoices, employee expense claims, and payment transactions across multiple business divisions. This is a high-accountability role at the operational core of a multi-entity, multi-currency Shared Services function. The successful candidate will be someone who takes pride in precision, learns fast, and is eager to grow within a structured finance environment.</p>
<h4>Key responsibilities:</h4>

Your job is to present a well-qualified shortlist with clear evidence of each candidate’s fit.<br><br>This role suits someone who enjoys hands-on recruiting, takes ownership, and wants to build a lasting working relationship with a small team.<br><br>What you’ll do<br>• Own recruiting for software engineering and AI engineering roles, from understanding the opening through sourcing, screening, interview coordination, and offer support.<br>• Clarify essential skills, seniority, project expectations, and hiring criteria with founders, clients, and hiring managers.<br>• Source candidates through Linked In, professional communities, referrals, and other relevant channels.<br>• Conduct structured phone and Zoom interviews to assess relevant experience, technical understanding, communication, motivation, and role fit.<br>• Ask meaningful follow-up questions about candidates’ projects, individual contributions, technical decisions, and results.<br>• Distinguish demonstrated experience from keyword-heavy résumés and identify areas requiring deeper technical assessment.<br>• Present concise candidate summaries covering strengths, gaps, availability, compensation expectations, and supporting interview evidence.<br>• Use AI assistants, research tools, and agentic workflows to support sourcing, interview preparation, recruiting administration, and candidate summaries.<br>• Verify AI-generated outputs, handle candidate information responsibly, and exercise your own judgment throughout screening.<br>• Maintain accurate candidate records, coordinate interviews, and provide consistent, professional communication.<br><br>What we’re looking for<br>• At least 3 years of recruiting experience, including hands-on recruitment for software engineering roles.<br>• A proven ability to run screening interviews independently and deliver qualified shortlists.<br>• Enough technical fluency to discuss engineering experience, understand role requirements, and recognize when specialist validation is needed.<br>• Familiarity with software engineering disciplines such as backend, frontend, full-stack, APIs, databases, cloud infrastructure, and development practices.<br>• Experience recruiting for AI engineering roles, with an understanding of concepts such as LLM applications, RAG, agents, model evaluation, and deployment.<br>• Practical experience using AI to improve recruiting work, including agentic tools or multi-step automated workflows. You should be able to explain what you have used, how it helped, and how you checked the results.<br>• Excellent spoken and written English, including confident phone and video communication with candidates and international clients.<br>• Strong organization, sound judgment, discretion, and reliable follow-through in a remote environment.<br>• An interest in a long-term role and helping a small company build a dependable recruiting function.<br><br>Preferred education: A degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related technical field is a plus.
