This role combines applied AI engineering with strong product judgment.<br><br>You should be comfortable working across the full stack—from Python-based AI systems and APIs to React frontends—and accountable for how your products perform in production.<br><br>At the senior level, you will:<br><br> Own AI product features from concept through production Build and optimize RAG pipelines and agent-based systems Develop backend services and modern user interfaces Make sound technical and product decisions Use AI coding tools such as Codex, Claude Code, or similar as part of your daily workflow <br><br>Key Responsibilities<br><br>End-to-End AI Product Development<br><br> Design and build AI-powered assistants, copilots, and automation tools Architect Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) pipelines, including ingestion, embeddings, vector search, and reranking Develop agent-based workflows with tool use, planning, and multi-step reasoning Build reusable AI components and integration libraries for multiple products <br><br>Full-Stack Engineering<br><br> Build React and Next.js interfaces with streaming responses and conversational experiences Develop backend APIs and services in Python, Java/Kotlin, or Node.js Work with Postgre SQL, Redis, Document DB, Azure Blob Storage, and vector databases such as pgvector or Qdrant Instrument AI systems using Langfuse and Grafana for tracing and observability <br><br>Product Ownership & Engineering Excellence<br><br> Evaluate product requirements and ensure solutions solve the right problems Optimize systems for reliability, latency, and user trust Document technical decisions and architecture clearly Mentor engineers and contribute to engineering best practices <br><br>Basic Qualifications<br><br> 7+ years of software engineering experience Proven experience shipping end-to-end product features across AI, backend, and frontend layers Strong proficiency in Python and experience building LLM-powered systems Solid React fundamentals, including state management, accessibility, and performance Experience building production APIs in Python, Java/Kotlin, or Node.js Working knowledge of Postgre SQL and relational schema design Understanding of common LLM production challenges such as hallucination, latency, and context degradation Practical use of AI coding assistants such as Codex or Claude Code Strong system design, testing, debugging, and performance optimization skills <br><br>Preferred Qualifications<br><br> Experience with Lang Graph, Lang Chain, Semantic Kernel, Auto Gen, or Crew AI Experience designing streaming APIs with SSE or Web Sockets Strong familiarity with Next.js, Tailwind CSS, Tan Stack Query, and Zustand Experience deploying AI applications on Azure using Docker and CI/CD pipelines Familiarity with vector databases such as Qdrant or pgvector Experience working in government, public sector, financial services, or other regulated environments <br><br>Technology Stack<br><br> Frontend: React, Next.js, Tailwind CSS Backend: Python, Java, Kotlin, Node.js AI & LLM: Lang Chain, Lang Graph, Microsoft Agent Framework, vector databases, OCR, ASR, TTS Data: Postgre SQL, Redis, Document DB, Azure Blob Storage Observability: Langfuse, Grafana Infrastructure: Docker, Azure, CI/CD pipelines AI Development: Codex, Claude Code, Open Code <br><br>What We're Looking For<br><br>You are an engineer who:<br><br> Takes ownership across the full product lifecycle Balances technical depth with strong product judgment Builds AI products that users trust in production Makes evidence-based decisions Communicates clearly and proactively Embraces AI-native development practices <br><br>Why Apply?<br><br>This is an opportunity to help shape the future of AI-powered public services in Abu Dhabi.<br><br>You'll work on meaningful products with real-world impact, solving complex challenges in applied AI, product engineering, and large-scale deployment.
