The Mechanical Engineer will prepare and review mechanical design drawings, shop drawings, and as-built drawings, ensuring compliance with project specifications, codes, and standards. Daily tasks include performing mechanical calculations, coordinating with design and construction teams, and providing technical support for HVAC, plumbing, fire-fighting, and related systems. The role involves reviewing material submittals, RFIs, and method statements, as well as assisting in cost estimates, quantity take-offs, and technical comparisons. The Mechanical Engineer will collaborate closely with project managers, site engineers, suppliers, and subcontractors to resolve technical issues and support smooth project execution.<br>Qualifications<br> Strong foundation in Mechanical Engineering, with proven experience in building services or construction-related projects. Proficiency in Machine Design and applied mechanics for evaluating and adapting mechanical components within project requirements. Hands-on experience with Computer-Aided Design (CAD) tools (e.g., Auto CAD, Revit, or similar) for preparing and reviewing technical drawings. Ability to contribute to Project Management activities, including planning support, coordination with stakeholders, and monitoring technical deliverables. Research and Development (R&D) mindset to analyze technical options, optimize designs, and propose innovative, cost-effective solutions. Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a closely related field. Familiarity with relevant mechanical codes, standards, and local regulations for building services. Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, project-driven environment. Effective written and verbal communication skills for technical documentation and coordination.
