Develop electrical layouts and schematics for: medium & Low Voltage systems, power distribution, lighting (internal, external, emergency) and grounding/lightning protection systems. Prepare single-line diagrams (SLD) and panel schedules. Ensure compliance with local and international codes (IEC, NEC, BS, local authorities). Design and coordinate telecom and low current systems, including: structured cabling (Data & Voice), CCTV, Access Control, Public Address (PA), Fire Alarm Interface and IP Telephony & Network Infrastructure. Prepare system layouts, riser diagrams, and technical specifications. Coordinate designs with Architectural, Structural, and other MEP disciplines. Prepare design drawings, BOQs, technical specifications, and material submittals. Participate in design review meetings and respond to technical comments. Support tender stage by providing clarifications and value engineering proposals. Ensure all designs meet client requirements, authority approvals, and project specifications. Conduct internal design checks and ensure quality standards are maintained. Assist in resolving site technical issues during construction (as required).<br>Qualifications Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering. Professional certifications or specialized courses in electrical or telecom systems are an advantage.2-5 years of relevant experience in electrical and telecom design. Previous experience in consultancy or design offices is preferred. Experience in infrastructure, buildings, or mixed-use projects is an advantage. Proficiency in Auto CAD (Revit MEP is an advantage). Electrical calculation software (e.g., ETAP, Dialux, or equivalent). Strong knowledge of electrical & telecom design standards and codes. Ability to prepare BOQs and technical specifications. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Effective communication and coordination abilities. Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines. Attention to detail and quality-focused mindset.
