Role Description The Manager Planning Engineering is a full-time, on-site role based in Giza, responsible for leading and coordinating project planning and scheduling activities for construction projects. This role oversees the development and maintenance of detailed project schedules, ensuring alignment with scope, resources, and budget, and supports project teams in identifying risks, constraints, and opportunities for optimization. The Manager Planning Engineering collaborates closely with engineering, construction, and project management teams to provide accurate progress reporting, forecasts, and planning-related insights. Day-to-day tasks include reviewing and updating schedules, analyzing project data, preparing reports and presentations, and ensuring adherence to company standards and client requirements. This role also mentors planning staff, contributes to continuous improvement of planning processes and tools, and supports stakeholders with clear, data-driven recommendations. Qualificationsfluent English c1Strong Analytical Skills, including the ability to interpret complex project data and translate findings into practical planning recommendations. Experience in Engineering Management, with a track record of coordinating multidisciplinary teams and integrating engineering inputs into project plans. Proficiency in Project Management and Project Planning, including scheduling, resource allocation, risk assessment, and progress tracking. Knowledge of Outside Plant (OSP) or field construction environments, with the ability to plan and manage site activities effectively. Relevant bachelor’s degree in engineering, construction management, or a related discipline; advanced degree or professional certifications (e.g., PMP, PSP) are an advantage. Hands-on experience with project scheduling and planning software (e.g., Primavera P6, MS Project) and strong MS Excel skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with diverse teams and present planning insights clearly to stakeholders. Demonstrated ability to work on-site, handle multiple projects, meet deadlines, and maintain high attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.
