The role covers the full life cycle of rotating machinery, from technical assurance and troubleshooting through to maintenance strategy, equipment modifications, vendor engagement, and long-term reliability improvement.</p><br><p>Candidate will support critical assets such as gas turbine generators, compressors, centrifugal and positive displacement pumps, drivers, gearboxes, sealing systems, lubrication systems, and associated auxiliaries.</p><br><p>Candidate will work closely with operations, maintenance, process, reliability, and project teams to deliver safe, reliable, compliant, and fit-for-purpose solutions that improve plant performance and reduce machinery risk.</p><br>Responsibilities<p>• Provide senior rotating equipment engineering support on sophisticated or high-risk machinery issues affecting safety, reliability, operability, and production.</p><br><p>• Deliver independent technical judgment on rotating equipment performance, condition, suitability, repairs, develop changes, and risk-based decisions.</p><br><p>• Perform and review advanced engineering assessments, calculations, and analyses for pumps, compressors, turbines, drivers, seals, bearings, lubrication systems, and associated auxiliaries.</p><br><p>• Investigate machinery failures, lead or support RCFA activity, and convert failure findings into practical corrective and defect elimination actions.</p><br><p>• Interpret and challenge vibration data, oil analysis, thermography, performance trends, failure history, and other condition supervising outputs to identify emerging reliability threats.</p><br><p>• Develop, improve, and maintain equipment strategies for rotating equipment, including maintenance tasks, inspection scope, condition monitoring requirements, overhaul philosophy, operating care, and sparing strategy.</p><br><p>• Validate that rotating equipment inspection, test, and maintenance activities remain aligned with equipment technical intent, site needs, and applicable engineering standards.</p><br><p>• Support production and operations teams in resolving machinery issues, responding to bad actors, reducing repeat failures, and improving availability of critical rotating assets.</p><br><p>• Work with reliability and production teams to understand top production losses, major vulnerabilities, and chronic performance gaps, and define effective improvement plans.</p><br><p>• Provide discipline input to technical MoCs, engineering queries, and brownfield modifications involving rotating equipment, including design review, equipment selection, datasheets, specifications, and package changes.</p><br><p>• Support hazard identification and risk assessment processes where rotating equipment is a key contributor, including HAZOP, HAZID, LOPA, vulnerability studies, and risk action plans.</p><br><p>• Support turnaround and shutdown planning by defining technical scope, repair philosophy, spares requirements, preservation plans, and readiness for critical rotating equipment work.</p><br><p>• Review technical bids, vendor proposals, OEM recommendations, repair methods, and contractor deliverables, and ensure the quality and practicality of external support.</p><br><p>• Support FAT, SAT, commissioning, start-up, and post-startup troubleshooting where rotating equipment is within scope.</p><br><p>• Drive lessons learned, standardization, and continuous improvement of rotating equipment practices, workflows, technical notes, and reliability tools.</p><br><p>• Track and interpret rotating equipment performance indicators and use them to improve reliability, maintenance effectiveness, and engineering priorities.</p><br><p>• Provide technical coaching and informal leadership to less experienced engineers and discipline.</p><br><p>• Significant experience in rotating equipment engineering within oil and gas processing facilities or comparable live operating environments.</p><br><p>• Strong technical knowledge of pumps, compressors, turbines, motors, gearboxes, mechanical seals, dry gas seals, bearings, lubrication systems, and auxiliary systems.</p><br><p>• Strong understanding of rotating equipment failure modes, machinery diagnostics, and condition monitoring techniques, including vibration, oil analysis, and performance trending.</p><br><p>• Good working knowledge of relevant The role focuses on safe containment, equipment condition, code compliance, and sound engineering judgment for static equipment throughout its lifecycle. </p><br><p>Candidate will support piping systems, pressure vessels, tanks, heat exchangers, fired heaters, valves, and other pressure-retaining equipment, and work closely with operations, inspection, maintenance, materials, corrosion, and project teams to keep the plant safe, reliable, inspectable, and maintainable.<br> </p><br><p><br><br>Job Responsibilities:<br>• Provide senior static mechanical engineering support on equipment condition, degradation, fitness-for-service concerns, technical risk, and safe operating decisions for pressure systems and static equipment.<br>• Deliver independent engineering judgment on piping, pressure vessels, tanks, heat exchangers, valves, and other static equipment exposed to corrosion, wall loss, cracking, fatigue, leakage, or other integrity threats.<br>• Review and assess inspection findings, operating envelope excursions, anomaly reports, and repair options, and define practical recommendations for continued operation, monitoring, repair, replacement, or shutdown intervention.<br>• Support and govern integrity assessments, including fitness-for-service reviews, remaining life evaluations, critical thickness checks, and pressure system technical justifications
