Role Description The BIM Coordinator is a full-time, on-site role based in New Cairo, responsible for overseeing Building Information Modeling processes across multidisciplinary projects. This role involves setting up and managing BIM models, coordinating architectural, structural, and MEP inputs, and ensuring model integrity, accuracy, and compliance with project standards. The BIM Coordinator will facilitate clash detection and resolution, support design teams with model updates, and prepare BIM-related documentation and reports. They will collaborate closely with project managers, engineers, and architects to align BIM workflows with project schedules and deliverables, while supporting continuous improvement in digital design practices and adherence to client and regulatory requirements. Qualifications Candidates should possess strong BIM and modeling skills (e.g., Revit, Navisworks, and related coordination tools). Candidates should possess skills in multidisciplinary coordination, including architectural, structural, and MEP model integration. Candidates should possess skills in clash detection, issue tracking, and quality control of BIM models. Candidates should possess skills in technical documentation, drawing production, and model-based reporting. Candidates should possess skills in project communication, teamwork, and collaboration with cross-functional design and engineering teams. Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Civil Engineering, Mechanical/Electrical Engineering, or a related field is preferred. Previous experience in BIM coordination within consultancy or construction environments is highly beneficial. Familiarity with relevant standards and protocols (e.g., BIM execution plans, model naming conventions, and data management practices) is an advantage. Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple project models and deadlines are required. Role Description the Mechanical Design Team Leader is a full-time, on-site role based in New Cairo, responsible for leading mechanical design activities across diverse building and infrastructure projects. This role oversees the mechanical design team, coordinates workloads, and ensures that HVAC, plumbing, fire-fighting, and other mechanical systems are designed according to relevant codes, client requirements, and project timelines. Daily tasks include reviewing and developing mechanical drawings and specifications, guiding CAD designers, conducting design coordination with other disciplines, and participating in technical meetings with internal teams and clients. The Mechanical Design Team Leader also provides support during tendering and construction phases through design clarifications, inspections, and resolution of site-related technical issues. The role involves mentoring team members, promoting best practices, and maintaining high standards of documentation and quality control. Job Responsibilities:Lead and deliver mechanical design works for various building projects from concept design through detailed/IFC design stages. Design and review HVAC, Plumbing, Drainage, and Firefighting systems in accordance with project requirements and applicable codes and standards. Perform and review engineering calculations, including cooling/heating loads, equipment sizing, duct sizing, pipe sizing, hydraulic calculations, and pump selection. Prepare and review mechanical design drawings, schematics, equipment schedules, specifications, BOQs, and design reports. Develop and review Revit MEP models and ensure proper BIM coordination with Architectural, Structural, and Electrical disciplines. Coordinate mechanical systems with other disciplines and resolve design clashes and technical issues. Review technical submissions, shop drawings, material submittals, and RFIs when required. Ensure that all design deliverables comply with project specifications, applicable local regulations, and international standards such as ASHRAE, NFPA, and IPC. Conduct internal design reviews and ensure the accuracy, quality, and completeness of project deliverables. Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior mechanical design engineers. Participate in client and coordination meetings and provide technical solutions when required. Support tendering activities through technical specifications, BOQs, and design clarifications. Manage assigned design tasks and ensure deliverables are completed within agreed deadlines.???? Requirements:Minimum 8 years of experience in Mechanical Design, preferably within an Engineering Consultancy. Strong experience in HVAC, Plumbing, Drainage & Firefighting Design. Excellent knowledge of mechanical design codes, standards, and regulations. Strong proficiency in Auto CAD and Revit MEP. Experience with HAP / Carrier or similar HVAC calculation software. Strong understanding of BIM coordination and multidisciplinary design. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and coordination skills. Very good command of English. Ability to lead and mentor junior engineers and manage multiple projects simultaneously.???? Graduates of AUC, BUE, GUC, Ain Shams University, and Cairo University are preferred.
