Role Description This is a full-time Senior Odoo Developer role based in Cairo, Egypt, with a hybrid work arrangement that allows a combination of on-site and work-from-home days. The Senior Odoo Developer will design, develop, and maintain Odoo modules and customizations, ensuring high-quality, scalable solutions that align with business requirements. Daily responsibilities include analyzing functional requirements, implementing back-end logic, integrating Odoo with external systems and APIs, and optimizing performance across modules. The role also involves troubleshooting and resolving technical issues, performing code reviews, writing clean and maintainable code, and collaborating closely with functional consultants, business stakeholders, and other developers. The Senior Odoo Developer will contribute to technical documentation, support deployment and upgrades, and mentor junior team members when needed.<br>Qualifications<br> Strong foundation in Computer Science, including algorithms, data structures, and software engineering principles. Proficiency in Back-End Web Development and Software Development, with experience building and maintaining server-side applications. Advanced Programming skills, preferably in Python, with experience in Odoo framework development and related tools. Solid understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) concepts and their practical application in designing modular, reusable code. Minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience with Odoo (development, customization, and integration). Experience with relational databases (e.g., Postgre SQL), version control systems (e.g., Git), and API integration (REST/JSON). Ability to translate business requirements into technical specifications and deliver reliable, maintainable solutions. Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work effectively in a hybrid environment with cross-functional teams. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience. Experience in ERP implementation, business process understanding (e.g., accounting, inventory, sales), and familiarity with Agile methodologies is advantageous.
