<p>The Finance Manager is responsible for AMIDEAST field office accounting, budgeting, forecasting, reporting, cash management, operations data analysis, analyze markets for business opportunities planning and strategics, investigate and advise senior managers on ways to improve profitability. The Finance Manager reports directly to the Country Director with the capacity to liaise with the Regional Finance Director and HQ Controller.</p><p><b>RESPONSIBILITIES:</b></p><ul><li>Monitor the AMIDEAST financials to ensure appropriate design,implementation and management to fall financial systems</li><li>Direct the preparation and negotiation of a proposed project, grant and services for a fee budget and modifications,and coordinate with partners/donors as appropriate ensuring compliance with international and local donor procedures and regulations in implementation of all program activities</li><li>Manage,monitor,and update project budgets and obligated funds and also review and analyze variations and share with donors as may be required</li><li>Supervise,manage and maintain organization finances,transactions,purchase orders,contracts, and petty cash</li><li>DesignandregularlyupdatetheAMIDEADTEgyptfinancemanualincoordinationwiththeRegional Director and HQ</li><li>Provideassistanceandguidancetoallprojectmanagersoncomprehendingfinanciallyandlabor reports.</li><li>Lead development of AMIDEAST s field office annual operating the budget ,rolling forecasts,and related internal management and operational reporting</li><li>Review and assist the Country Director in monitoring field office (functional)and program financial performance keeping management abreast of current and projected performance and trends.</li><li>Provide training to staff on budgeting,accounting procedures and other relevant are as a needed</li><li>Work closely with HQ Controller and Regional Finance Director in response to external audits, as well as with our Internal Auditor on internal audits</li><li>Work closely with HQ Treasury department to effectively prepare accurate cash forecasts and weekly cash positions</li><li>Prepare financial reports as required for program sponsors in coordination with HQ accounting and HQ contracts and grants departments</li><li>Participate in the proposal pricing process as a key member of pricing team</li><li>Monitors and reviews field office(functional) and program financial performance keeping management abreast of current and projected performance and trends</li><li>Work closely with the Country Director,HQ Controller and Regional Finance Director in response to external and internal audits</li><li>Supervise all financial staff in Cairo and Alexandria and serve as the point person for organization -related financial queries,coordinating all correspondence from Head Quarters in DC regarding wiring of cash, payments and other financial matters together with effective preparation of accurate cash forecasts and weekly cash positions</li><li>Oversightofallfieldofficeaccountingincludingmonthlyclosingprocess, accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll and monthly reconciliation activities. All to be completed on a timely manner and in accordance with HQ standardized processes</li><li>Monitor the review and clearance of vouchers for disbursement to vendors, contactors, consultants, suppliers and employees</li><li>Develop,review,and punctually submit monthly,quarterly,and annual financial statements/reports for donors as may be required by grant/donor agreements and in coordination with HQ accounting and HQ contracts and grants departments</li><li>Ensure staff liaises with the authorized bank on day to day operational matters; <p>The Senior Testing Specialist is responsible for administering and processing Amidest s SAT testing program effectively as per set policies and procedures. The Senior Testing Specialist will support the SAT, PSAT and the Local Registration Programs, with a particular focus on the SAT administration and all logistics related to training sessions; contacting observers and proctors, tracking documents and forms, and updating databases; completing reporting documentation; consistently ensuring that testing quality and security standards are being met; and actively interacting with all SAT stakeholders in a professional and positive manner.</p><p>RESPONSIBILITIES</p><p>Tasks and responsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to, the following:</p><ul><li>Conduct orientation sessions for SAT candidates in-house and outreach</li><li>Monitor and manage the daily duties completion of the SAT Testing Specialist</li><li>Prepare logistics for the SAT exams which include:</li><ul><li>Upload the SAT rosters from the Test Centre Supervisor's website</li><li>Handle the vehicle request for the Test Centre Observers (TCOs) on the test day</li><li>Determine the number of observers needed</li><li>Work on the TCOs list</li><li>Prepare the files for TCOs</li><li>Conduct training sessions for TCOs</li><li>Conduct training sessions for new TCOs</li><li>Work on the TCOs evaluation reports</li><li>Score the quizzes of the TCOs</li><li>Respond to email and phone call inquiries</li><li>Maintain a database of TCOs</li></ul><li>Work efficiently on multiple projects (SAT registration, SAT administration , and Local Registration) and meet all project deadlines and within projected timelines</li><li>Cooperate with various departments and their needs related to SAT.
