Roles and Responsibilities: Conducting routine and non-routine chemical analyses and testing of essential oils and fixed oils using various analytical instruments and techniques, such as Gas Chromatography-Mass Spectrometry (GC-MS), High-Performance Liquid Chromatography (HPLC), and spectroscopic analysis techniques. Developing and validating analytical methods used to identify, quantify, and characterize compounds within essential and fixed oils. Performing necessary analyses to evaluate sample quality, purity, component concentrations, and property stability, ensuring compliance with internal specifications and approved regulatory standards. Analyzing laboratory results, interpreting data, and preparing accurate technical reports, while presenting results and communicating them with relevant departments. Collaborating with the Research and Development (R&amp;D) team to provide analytical support during formulation development, optimization, and stability studies. Monitoring the performance, maintenance, and calibration of analytical instruments, troubleshooting technical faults, ensuring operational efficiency, and adhering to Good Laboratory Practice (GLP). Keeping up with the latest developments in chemical analysis techniques and instrumentation used in analyzing essential and fixed oils. Contributing to the development and improvement of laboratory workflows, including sample preparation, data analysis, and laboratory documentation. Adhering to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), laboratory safety rules, and applicable regulatory requirements. Contributing to the evaluation and qualification of raw materials and suppliers related to essential and fixed oils, ensuring raw materials comply with required specifications. Job Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy, Analytical Chemistry, or any related scientific discipline. 1 to 3 years of experience in the field of chemical analysis of essential oils and fixed oils. Proficiency in spoken and written English. Proficiency in using Microsoft Word and Excel. Experience working with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems, preferably Odoo. Practical experience in conducting chemical analyses of essential and fixed oils using various analytical techniques and instruments. Ability to analyze and interpret laboratory data and results using appropriate statistical software and tools. Familiarity with the chemical composition, properties, and analytical methods of essential and fixed oils. Accuracy, attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and the ability to handle technical malfunctions of laboratory equipment.
