Job Title: Manager / Deputy Manager – Logistics (SCML, SEZ Compliance) Location: Egypt<br>Role Overview We are seeking an experienced Manager / Deputy Manager – Logistics to lead import-export operations, SEZ compliance, and documentation processes. The role requires strong expertise in supply chain management, regulatory adherence, and efficient handling of logistics documentation and SCZone procedures. Key Responsibilities Manage import shipments and follow up with freight forwarders and suppliers. Prepare, review, and verify shipping documents (Commercial Invoice, Packing List, Bill of Lading, Manifest). Handle shipment tracking and ensure timely customs clearance. Coordinate with customs brokers, shipping agents, and internal departments for smooth operations. Follow up on SCZone procedures, container inspections, and status updates. Prepare and submit official letters to the SCZone Authority. Support distribution and allocation of equipment across operations. Supervise import operations and manage the full inbound logistics process. Maintain and oversee the import file, monitoring shipment changes or updates. Handle communication with customs, shipping agencies, and the Suez Canal Economic Zone Authority. Drive compliance processes for SEZ and logistics operations. Implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance logistics efficiency. Coordinate with procurement and transportation teams to ensure timely delivery of goods. Support audits and inspections related to logistics and SEZ operations. Required Qualifications Graduate/Postgraduate in Supply Chain, Logistics, or related discipline.5–8 years of experience in logistics, import-export, and SEZ compliance. Strong knowledge of international trade documentation and SCZone procedures. Familiarity with SEZ regulations and compliance frameworks. Proficiency in ERP systems (SAP or similar) preferred. Role Description The Import Coordinator at Diniz Adient Egypt is a full-time, on-site role based in Ismailia. The role is responsible for coordinating end-to-end import activities, including preparing documentation, tracking shipments, and ensuring timely clearance of goods in line with company procedures and regulatory requirements. The Import Coordinator liaises with customs brokers, shipping lines, freight forwarders, and internal teams to resolve issues, optimize transit times, and maintain accurate records. Daily tasks include monitoring shipment status, updating internal systems, handling customer and stakeholder inquiries, and supporting continuous improvement of import processes. The role also involves collaborating with finance and logistics to ensure correct duty payments, cost control, and compliance with trade regulations. Qualifications Experience with supplier communications about raw material ordering, transportation organizations from supplier outside of Egypt, import clearance operations in Egypt Customs. Experience with Cargo X Customs Platform and ACID number creation. Bachelor’s degree in Industrial-Mechanical Engineering, Business Administration, Economics,Statistics, International Trade & Logistics, At least 2-3 years experience as import supplier management, Strong interpersonal and communication skills, result-oriented, Leadership and analytical skills, Ability to work under tight deadlines and decision making success. Excellent command of verbal and written English, Excellent command of Microsoft Office applications, (especially excel, power BI also prefered) No restriction to international travelling, Completed military service for male applicants. The duties you will be responsible for when you joined Diniz Adient as a "Logistics Material Scheduler-Import"; Being responsible for supplier-customer capacity constraints, making short and long term planning considering public holidays etc. Following daily, weekly, monthly KPIs, attend the meetings and follow the actions. Being responsible for the transportation process. (contact with Custom Agent and Transport Companies) Preparation of weekly meeting presentations and follow-up stocks, and stock management with given targets. Being responsible from logistics flow (import suppliers) by working logistics team as material planner&logistics scheduler.
