Work location: West Al-Minya (the Egyptian countryside) – project site on an area of 6000 feddans (includes a solar power plant with a capacity of 2 MW). Required experience: 2 to 3 years in the electrical works field, with experience in Solar Power Plants (Photovoltaic Systems), and electrical wiring works at agricultural or industrial sites. Tasks and responsibilities: - For the 2 MW solar power plant: monitor operation and maintenance of the solar plant according to technical standards. - Monitor system performance using SCADA or Monitoring Systems. - Perform periodic tests on components (inverters – PV panels – breakers – MCCs – transformers). - Analyze causes of production decline and immediately address technical faults. - Coordinate with service providers or suppliers for warranty and technical support. - Assist in designing and implementing medium and low voltage networks within the project (distribution boards – cables – poles). - Supervise electricity connection to buildings, pumping units, wells, and warehouses. - Prepare electrical load schedules and determine transformer capacities needed for facilities. - Apply electrical safety standards and ensure works comply with the Egyptian Code and NEC/IEC international code. - Prepare periodic technical reports and submit them to project management. The position holder works under the guidance and supervision of the Farm Manager and is responsible for developing production strategies, soil analysis, irrigation and fertilization management, pest and disease control, supervising agricultural operations from planting to harvest, and training workers, with a focus on improving crop quality and quantity using modern techniques, and providing periodic reports to management to achieve maximum production efficiency. Duties & Responsibilities: Develop work plans for cereal crop cultivation, including seed types, sowing timing, fertilization and irrigation schedules, and resource management; Analyze soil samples to determine needs, and implement appropriate irrigation and fertilization programs to increase soil fertility and improve crop growth; Regularly monitor fields to identify pests and plant diseases, and implement chemical or biological control programs efficiently and in accordance with environmental standards; Direct supervision of engineers and farm workers and organize their daily tasks, and train them on best agricultural practices; Conduct experiments to improve crop varieties and increase productivity, ensuring final crop quality; Submit periodic reports on crop status, growth rates, production quantities, and work challenges to management; Stay updated with the latest developments and technologies in modern agriculture and apply them to enhance process efficiency; Train and develop the team and supervise their work to ensure tasks are completed on time and with the required quality; Respond to new tasks as they arise.
