schedules.<br>key Responsibilities<br>Engineering and Technical Responsibilities:<br>* Review project specifications, drawings, piping isometrics, equipment layouts, data sheets, insulation schedules, and bills of quantities.* Select appropriate insulation systems based on operating temperature, process conditions, environmental exposure, energy-conservation requirements, and fire and safety considerations.* Prepare and review insulation and cladding specifications, material take-offs, technical submittals, method statements, inspection and test plans, and installation procedures.* Determine the required insulation material, thickness, density, vapor barriers, weatherproofing systems, fastening arrangements, and cladding materials.* Provide technical solutions for hot-service, cold-service, cryogenic, acoustic, anti-condensation, and personnel-protection applications.* Develop insulation details for piping fittings, valves, flanges, supports, vessels, tanks, ducts, boilers, turbines, and other industrial equipment.* Review vendor and subcontractor technical offers and verify compliance with project specifications.* Support cost estimation, tender preparation, quantity verification, variation orders, and technical-commercial evaluations.* Identify insulation interfaces and potential clashes with piping, structural steel, equipment, electrical systems, and instrumentation.<br>Site Execution and Supervision:<br>* Plan and supervise insulation and cladding activities at construction and operating industrial sites.* Coordinate daily activities with construction teams, subcontractors, planners, QA/QC personnel, HSE teams, and client representatives.* Ensure that surfaces are properly prepared and released before insulation installation.* Verify the correct installation of insulation materials, vapor barriers, sealants, expansion joints, support systems, removable insulation covers, and metal cladding.* Supervise the fabrication and installation of aluminium, stainless-steel, and galvanized-steel cladding.* Monitor workforce productivity, material consumption, work progress, and subcontractor performance.* Resolve technical and site-related problems and provide practical corrective solutions.* Coordinate insulation activities during plant shutdowns, turnarounds, maintenance campaigns, and time-critical projects.* Ensure that completed systems provide continuous insulation and adequate protection against weather, moisture ingress, mechanical damage, and corrosion under insulation.* Prepare progress reports, look-ahead plans, technical queries, site instructions, and completion documentation.<br> Quality and Inspection<br>* Inspect insulation and cladding works in accordance with approved drawings, specifications, method statements, and inspection plans.* Verify material certificates, approved manufacturers, batch information, storage conditions, and material traceability.* Conduct inspections covering insulation thickness, density, joint arrangement, fastening, sealing, vapor-barrier continuity, cladding overlap, water shedding, and workmanship.* Identify non-conformities, recommend corrective actions, and follow up until final closure.* Participate in client inspections, system handovers, punch-list clearance, and final acceptance.* Support investigations and preventive actions related to moisture ingress, insulation deterioration, heat loss, condensation, and corrosion under insulation.* Maintain inspection records, material reports, red-line drawings, and final project dossiers.<br>Health, Safety, and Environmental Responsibilities<br>* Ensure all activities comply with project HSE requirements and applicable site procedures.* Conduct or participate in risk assessments, job safety analyses, toolbox talks, and permit-to-work activities.* Promote safe practices for working at height, scaffolding access, confined spaces, hot surfaces, sharp metal cladding, and insulation-material handling.* Ensure the correct use of personal protective equipment and proper housekeeping within work areas.<br>Required Qualifications<br>* Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from a recognized university.* Minimum 10 years of relevant experience in thermal insulation and industrial cladding.* Proven experience on heavy industrial projects such as power plants, refineries, petrochemical facilities, oil and gas plants, cement plants, fertilizer plants, steel plants, LNG facilities, or large process-industry projects.* Strong practical knowledge of insulation systems for piping, tanks, vessels, boilers, ducts, turbines, heat exchangers, and industrial equipment.* Demonstrated experience in both engineering review and site execution.* Experience managing insulation subcontractors, supervisors, foremen, technicians, and skilled workers.* Strong understanding of corrosion under insulation and moisture-prevention requirements.* Experience working on shutdowns, plant maintenance, or brownfield projects is highly preferred.* Good command of written and spoken English. This role oversees the design process from concept to delivery, ensuring that all engineering and architectural design work meets project requirements, quality standards, and regulatory guidelines. Day-to-day tasks include coordinating multidisciplinary design teams, reviewing and approving design documents, managing design schedules, and resolving technical issues. The Design Manager collaborates closely with project managers, site supervision teams, and clients to align design solutions with project goals and budget constraints. The role also involves mentoring junior designers, implementing design best practices, and contributing to continuous improvement of ECB’s design management system.<br>Qualifications<br> Strong expertise in design management, including leading multidisciplinary design teams and managing design workflows. Job Summary The Safety Supervisor is responsible for driving and enforcing a safety-first culture across Nile Projects’ regional warehouses and automotive retail showrooms (including Fit & Fix, Kawetchagy, and BTTC) throughout Upper Egypt. This role conducts rigorous safety audits, leads incident investigations, oversees risk mitigation, and ensures 100% compliance with national labor laws, local civil defense regulations, and internal NPTCO safety policies to protect employees, facilities, and assets.<br>III. Relationships & Reporting Structure Reporting Directly To: Regional HSE Manager Internal Liaison: Warehouse Managers, Showroom Managers, Logistics & Supply Chain Teams, Corporate Facilities, and HR/Talent Acquisition. External Liaison: Local Civil Defense Authorities, Ministry of Manpower Inspectors, External Safety Auditors, and Emergency Response Services.<br>IV. Core Responsibilities & Duties1. Auditing, Inspections, & Compliance Perform rigorous, recurring HSE audits and safety inspections across all regional warehouses and automotive service/showroom facilities in Upper Egypt. Ensure strict operational compliance with local environmental and occupational safety regulations, Egyptian labor laws, and internal NPTCO guidelines. Monitor, inspect, and certify the operational readiness of all fire suppression systems, alarm panels, first aid stations, and emergency response equipment.2. Risk Assessment & Incident Management Conduct comprehensive Risk Assessments and Job Safety Analyses (JSA) for warehouse, logistics, and retail workshop operations. Lead technical investigations into workplace incidents, near-misses, or property damage to determine root causes and implement corrective actions. Maintain meticulous safety logs, incident records, and real-time hazard reporting for executive management review.3. Training, Drills, & Field Leadership Orchestrate periodic emergency response drills, fire evacuation exercises, and technical HSE workshops for site staff. Deliver field-level training on proper Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) usage, hazardous material handling, and safe machinery operation. Serve as the primary local focal point for safety inquiries, hazard escalation, and regulatory site visits.<br>V. Performance Standards & KPIsAudit Schedule Adherence: 100% completion rate of scheduled regional safety audits across all warehouses and showrooms. Incident Rate Reduction: Zero major lost-time injuries (LTI) and a measurable reduction in preventable workplace hazards. Corrective Action Closure Rate: >95% timely resolution of identified audit non-conformities and safety violations. Regulatory Compliance: 100% compliance rate with zero formal fines or notices from Civil Defense or Labor Ministry authorities.<br>VI. Job Specifications (Qualifications & Requirements)1. Education & Certifications Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Science is mandatory. NEBOSH International General Certificate (IGC) is mandatory. ISO 45001:2018 (OH&S) and ISO 14001:2015 (EMS) Certified Lead Auditor status is required.2. Experience Minimum 5+ years of progressive HSE experience, strictly within Warehousing, Supply Chain, Logistics, or Automotive Retail Service environments.3. Skills & Competencies Technical Mastery: Deep working knowledge of fire safety systems, civil defense codes, risk assessment methodologies (JSA), and OSHA/ISO standards. Language & Communication: Fluency in English (written and spoken) with strong reporting and leadership capabilities. Location & Mobility: Must be a current resident of Asyut City, with full flexibility to travel regularly across Upper Egypt operational sites.
