The following are the main tasks and responsibilities:</p><ol><li><strong>Operational Planning and Scheduling:</strong><br>Develop weekly, monthly, and annual production plans in coordination with the Sales and Procurement departments to meet market demands.<br>Determine actual raw material requirements (corn, soy, concentrates, additives) and packaging materials to ensure uninterrupted production lines.<br>Allocate and distribute human resources and equipment across different shifts efficiently and flexibly.</li><li><strong>Daily Supervision and Operations:</strong><br>Monitor manufacturing stages from receiving and unloading grains, through grinding, mixing, pressing, cooling, to packaging and loading.<br>Monitor the performance of machinery and equipment (presses, boilers, mixers) to ensure they operate within standard operating parameters.<br>Immediately intervene to resolve manufacturing issues or operational bottlenecks in production lines to prevent time wastage.</li><li><strong>Quality Control and Compliance with Feed Formulations:</strong><br>Strictly adhere to feed formulations and recipes issued by the Technical Support or nutrition experts without altering mixing ratios.<br>Coordinate with the Quality Control (QC) department to conduct periodic sampling and monitor physical feed characteristics (hardness, PDI, moisture, particle size).<br>Isolate any non-compliant batches and take immediate corrective actions.</li><li><strong>Preventive Maintenance and Occupational Safety:</strong><br>Coordinate with Maintenance (mechanical and electrical) to prepare and implement preventive maintenance programs and periodic plans to avoid sudden breakdowns.<br>Enforce strict Occupational Health and Safety (HSE) standards within the plant to protect workers from risks such as dust, fire, and moving machinery.<br>Ensure cleanliness of storage silos and production lines to prevent cross-contamination and spoilage.</li><li><strong>Cost Management and Waste Reduction:</strong><br>Monitor and reduce waste of raw materials or finished feed during various production stages.<br>Lower manufacturing costs by optimizing energy consumption rates (electricity, steam, fuel) per ton of feed.<br>Manage inventory of fast-moving spare parts for production lines (e.g., dies and rollers).</li><li><strong>Team Leadership and Development:</strong><br>Directly supervise engineers, supervisors, technicians, and workers, and conduct periodic performance evaluations.<br>Identify training needs for the team to enhance their efficiency in operating modern systems (e.g., SCADA/PLC automated control systems).<br>Prepare and submit daily and periodic reports to senior management, including actual production quantities, waste ratios, fault rates, and energy consumption.</li><li><strong>Coordination with Sales and Marketing:</strong><br>Schedule production based on sales forecasts to ensure product availability in warehouses in required quantities and avoid feed shortages in the market.<br>Flexibly respond to special requests: provide technical capabilities to manufacture 'special orders' or quantities for key accounts with specific customer-requested specifications.<br>Resolve customer complaints: address sales-related complaints regarding product quality (e.g., crumbling pellets, discoloration, or odor) and reinforce the production line to resolve the issue, providing a technical report to support sales efforts with the customer.<br>Expand production lines and evaluate and implement new technologies to align with the company’s geographical expansion plans and market entry strategies.
