This field service role focuses on performing high-quality inspection, fault detection, and repair of the mobile heavy equipment fleet to improve the mean time between failures (MTBF) and deliver results that meet quality standards and company expectations.<br><br>Key Tasks and Responsibilities:<br><br>- Advanced inspection and fault prediction: Conduct precise and comprehensive inspection of heavy equipment (including lifting parts, booms/sticks, buckets, structure tires, and undercarriage parts) to ensure defects are detected and reported to supervisors before major operational failures occur.<br>- Work order diagnosis: Record accurate and comprehensive information using standard work order processes and fault notifications to facilitate precise maintenance planning and execution.<br>- Task prioritization: Prioritize maintenance tasks based on potential risks affecting health, safety, and the environment (HSE) and equipment readiness for operation.<br>- Shift handover coordination: Actively participate in daily Pre-start meetings and shift handovers to discuss ongoing work, updates, mining plan changes, and potential safety risks with on-call staff.<br>- Maintenance and quality execution: Gather all specialized tools, spare parts, and required technical documents before starting the task. Perform mechanical repairs to the highest quality standards with the aim of zero rework.<br>- Testing and trial run: Strictly test and run equipment after repairs to verify addressing all hydraulic or mechanical faults and ensure maintenance efficiency before returning equipment to service and ready for its intended use.<br>- Safety and isolation systems: Strict 100% adherence to site and company requirements for work permits, risk assessment, lock-out/tag-out, and general risk management to maintain a zero-harm work environment.<br>- Documentation and general system: Complete all technical maintenance documents (including preventive maintenance forms and inspection records) and record actual results.
