Job Purpose The Mechanical Maintenance Engineer is responsible for ensuring the reliability, availability, and efficient operation of all mechanical equipment and machinery within the plant. The role involves preventive and corrective maintenance, troubleshooting, equipment inspections, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives to minimize downtime and maintain safe and efficient operations.<br>Key Responsibilities Plan and execute preventive, predictive, and corrective mechanical maintenance activities. Troubleshoot mechanical failures and breakdowns and ensure timely resolution. Conduct regular inspections of machinery and mechanical equipment to identify potential issues. Ensure maximum equipment availability and minimize unplanned downtime. Maintain and repair mechanical systems including pumps, compressors, gearboxes, conveyors, valves, bearings, hydraulic and pneumatic systems. Coordinate with Production and other departments to ensure maintenance activities are completed with minimum impact on production.
