Job Summary:We are looking for an experienced Senior Electrical QC Engineer to join our team and support the execution of HV/MV Substation and Infrastructure projects. The role will be responsible for ensuring that electrical works are executed in accordance with approved drawings, specifications, quality standards, and project requirements. Similar current substation QC roles emphasize inspections, ITPs, NCR management, documentation, and coordination with clients and consultants. <br>Key Responsibilities:Implement and monitor project QA/QC procedures for electrical works. Conduct inspections of HV/MV substation electrical installations, including GIS/AIS, transformers, switchgear, cables, earthing, and related systems. Review and implement ITPs, Method Statements, checklists, and quality procedures. Ensure compliance with approved drawings, project specifications, and applicable IEC/IEEE standards. Coordinate inspections with clients, consultants, subcontractors, and site teams. Raise and follow up NCRs and ensure timely corrective actions and closure. Monitor material inspections and ensure compliance with approved technical submittals. Support electrical testing, commissioning, and project handover activities. Prepare and maintain QC reports, inspection records, and project quality documentation. Participate in quality meetings, audits, and project close-out activities.<br>Qualifications & Requirements:???? Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering.???? Minimum 5 years of experience in QA/QC within EPC, Energy, Utilities, Power, Industrial, or Infrastructure projects.???? Main Responsibilities Coordinate all Fire & Gas engineering activities throughout the project lifecycle, from engineering to commissioning. Review and monitor Fire & Gas engineering deliverables, including cause & effect matrices, device layouts, detector coverage, F&G drawings, hook-ups, and system architecture. Support procurement activities by reviewing technical specifications, vendor offers, and submittals for Fire & Gas systems and related equipment. Ensure alignment between engineering design, material procurement, site installation, testing, and commissioning activities. Coordinate with vendors for Fire Alarm, Gas Detection, Flame Detection, Voice Evacuation, and integrated safety systems. Participate in Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT), Site Acceptance Tests (SAT), loop checking, functional testing, and commissioning activities. Resolve technical issues and respond to site queries related to Fire & Gas systems. Coordinate with multidisciplinary engineering teams, clients, consultants, vendors, and construction teams to ensure timely project execution. Monitor project progress, prepare technical reports, and maintain project documentation. Ensure compliance with project specifications, international standards (NFPA, IEC, ISA where applicable), client requirements, and company quality standards. Key Requirements Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Instrumentation & Control Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, or a related discipline.5–7 years of experience in Fire & Gas, Fire Alarm, or Safety Systems within EPC, oil & gas, petrochemical, or industrial projects. Strong knowledge of Fire Alarm and Gas Detection systems, including flame detectors, gas detectors, smoke and heat detectors, manual call points, sounders, beacons, and control panels. Familiarity with integrated Fire & Gas systems and interfaces with PLC, DCS, SCADA, and Emergency Shutdown (ESD) systems. Experience reviewing Fire & Gas design documents, cause & effect matrices, detector layouts, cable schedules, and system architecture drawings. Experience coordinating engineering, procurement, construction, testing, and commissioning activities. Knowledge of applicable international standards such as NFPA, IEC, and ISA is preferred. Strong communication, coordination, analytical, and problem-solving skills. Proficiency in MS Office; experience with Auto CAD and engineering/document management software is an advantage.

Resolve technical and construction issues related to Fire & Gas systems and coordinate engineering clarifications when required. Ensure installation complies with approved drawings, manufacturer recommendations, and applicable NFPA, IEC, ISA, and client standards. Coordinate inspections, testing, pre-commissioning, loop checks, and commissioning activities with QA/QC and commissioning teams. Prepare construction progress reports, site documentation, RFIs, work completion records, and punch list close-out. Support project handover by ensuring all construction activities, documentation, and as-built records are completed. Ensure compliance with project specifications, international standards (NFPA, IEC, ISA where applicable), client requirements, and company quality standards.
