A practical and precise Electronics/Hardware Technician is required to join the team, responsible for supporting PCB manufacturing and assembly, soldering, troubleshooting, and repairing faults, as well as managing lab tools, equipment, and inventory to maintain workshop readiness. Main Tasks / Core Responsibilities: • - Assisting in the manufacturing and assembly processes of printed circuit boards (PCBs), including component assembly, soldering, cleaning, and post-assembly inspection. • - Manually fabricating printed circuit boards (PCBs) when needed, and performing surface-mount device (SMD) soldering and micro-soldering tasks. • - Diagnosing and repairing faults using electrical schematics, measuring devices, oscilloscopes, and thermal imaging to identify faults, damaged circuits, and components. • - Performing required tests on electronic boards, verifying supply voltages and signal integrity, with knowledge of various communication protocols such as (SPI, I2C, UART, and CAN). • - Managing lab tools and equipment, ensuring tools (oscilloscopes, power supplies, soldering tools, etc.) are ready and available. • - Maintaining an accurate inventory of electronic components, consumables, and spare parts, including receiving, coding, and stocktaking. • - Documenting repair and fault reports, as well as test results for electronic boards and used components. • - Following Electrostatic Discharge (ESD) protection procedures and safety guidelines when handling sensitive devices and lab equipment. • - Ability to design simple electronic circuits and work with PCB design software such as (Altium Designer, KiCad, or equivalent). Requirements (Technical/Personal): Educational Qualification: • Diploma or technical qualification in electronics, electrical engineering, or a related field (Bachelor's degree preferred). Experience: • Practical experience of not less than 1 to 3 years in PCB soldering, reworking, and board-level repair. • Experience in automotive electronics or battery-related systems is strongly preferred.
